Preview season for Magic: The Gathering’s next set, Reality Fracture, starts next week, Wizards of the Coast said. The company published a full day by day schedule naming every source set to reveal new cards before the set comes out on October 2.
The schedule runs from September 7 through September 17, covering both Main Set previews and a separate round of Commander previews. Readers should check back daily so they don’t miss a new card reveal.
The Main Set Rollout
Several days carry a large number of named sources, based on the schedule Wizards shared. September 10 includes an official Magic account, Checkpoint Gaming, Commander Radio, Gidano, Hungry On Plane, Magic BigNewbee Tree, the Magic: The Gathering Bluesky account, the Magic: The Gathering Email, the Magic: The Gathering Japanese Facebook page, the Magic: The Gathering YouTube channel, MKAU Gaming, MTG Specs, MTG Versus, Mujeres en Magic, Polygon, Quest Daily and Reality Fracture Episode 9.
September 11 brings a wide lineup as well: MTGArenaJP, the German Wizards account, author Brandon Sanderson, EB Games, GAMEWAVE, IGN, Jack Saunders, the Magic: The Gathering French Facebook page, Metropolitan Magazine, Polygon, Reality Fracture Episode 10, ScreenHub and Tobby.
Sanderson’s name appears among the September 11 sources. Wizards did not say what part the author will play in the reveal, only that his name is listed for that date.
GAMEWAVE is named as a source for September 11, and MKAU Gaming is named as a source for September 10. Wizards did not say how either source will handle its preview, only that each name sits on the schedule next to its date.
Smaller Preview Days
Not every date carries the same amount of activity. September 14 lists an official Magic account, Based Deck Department, the Magic: The Gathering Instagram account, the Magic: The Gathering YouTube channel, RubeePlays, ScreenRant and Titan的Magic.
September 15 adds ANZ Super Series, Barrel Down Sokenzan, DailyMTG, Good Games Morley, the Magic: The Gathering Japanese Facebook page, the Magic: The Gathering Instagram account, Sky Mercury, Variety and WeeklyMTG.
September 16 closes out the bulk of the schedule with the main Wizards account, the Magic: The Gathering Email, the Magic: The Gathering Japanese Facebook page, the Magic: The Gathering YouTube channel, ScottNoMana and TCGplayer.
Commander Gets Its Own Spot
Reality Fracture’s Commander previews get a single date of their own: September 16. The only source named for that spot is the Magic: The Gathering YouTube channel, under the title Multiverse Reforged.
Wizards did not list any sources for September 7, September 8, September 9, September 12, September 13 or September 17 in the material shared. Those dates remain on the schedule but without named preview sources attached to them.
