Lambrini Girls have announced their second album, No Refunds. The British punk duo also unveiled a new song, “Bang Bang Bang,” which draws on a figure revered as both a Christ-like savior and the devil. The record is set for a January 15, 2027 release via City Slang.
The band’s debut LP, Who Let the Dogs Out, came out in January 2025. No Refunds follows with 11 tracks, including the previously released single “Cult of Celebrity.” Singer-guitarist Phoebe Lunny and bassist Selin Macieira wrote the record after both faced serious health issues.
Health Struggles Behind the Songs
Macieira stepped back from touring in late 2025 due to a manic episode caused by burnout. Lunny suffered a brain injury during their first Australian tour. Both said returning to songwriting helped them process their frustrations and struggles.
The new songs cover heavy ground. The album addresses AI, genocide, and the manosphere. The tracklist moves from “Truth to Power” through “Is This AI?” with stops at “Spilt,” “Succulent Chinese Meal,” and “Gaza Beach.”
“Bang Bang Bang” centers on a man revered as a Christ-like figure but also described as the devil. The accompanying music video is described as shadowy, matching the song’s subject matter.
A Tour Runs Through 2027
After a short run of shows this fall in the United States, Lambrini Girls will take a break over the winter. They plan a longer headlining tour in 2027, with dates across Europe from March through June.
The North American leg runs from September through October, hitting major cities like Brooklyn, Indianapolis, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Atlanta, Asheville, Los Angeles, and more. The European dates start in Cambridge and Bristol, then move through Manchester, Birmingham, Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, London, and a wide stretch of mainland Europe.
