A new Prime Video series called Neagley is coming to the Reacher universe, with the first episode landing Sept. 16. It centers on Frances Neagley, a Chicago private investigator and former military protégé of Jack Reacher, who takes her team on a mission to discover what happened to her friend Tommy after he joined a mysterious cult.
Maria Sten returns as Neagley for the eight-episode first season, which also features a group of fresh faces and familiar ones from the wider Reacher universe. Alan Ritchson plays Jack Reacher and makes a guest appearance to fight alongside his mentee. Below is the complete list of the season’s participants.
Frances Neagley and Her Commanding Officer
The show centers on Frances Neagley, a no-nonsense private investigator who embarks on a perilous course of action to expose a menacing evil. Her investigation concerns the actions of her friend Tommy’s disappearance drives the season’.
Jack Reacher was once Neagley’s commanding officer, and now she has returned to offer him guidance during the season. Their bond is long-standing, and he remains among the few people in the world she trusts.
Detective Hudson Riley Joins the Hunt
Hudson Riley is a cop with a criminal background, the black sheep of his own family of wrongdoers. He regards Neagley’s investigation into her friend’s suspicious demise as the ideal chance to demonstrate that he can work honestly and diligently. Greyston Holt portrays him.
The team gains a member whose history is shadowed and unsettling, and his addition puts pressure on Neagley’s group. A wish for redemption through the case binds him to the central mystery, giving his character a purpose tied directly to the investigation.
Keno Finds Redemption With Neagley
Neagley finds faith in Keno, a boy who grew up on the streets after surviving both foster care and juvenile detention. Together, they will change the course of his life and fight for justice for Tommy. Jasper Jones plays the part.

Renée Birdwhistle Wants Answers Too
Renée Birdwhistle has had enough of her job as an administrative assistant and wants to start working as a private investigator. She will team up with Neagley to look into Tommy’s case, she hopes she’ll, hoping to find out what happened to her missing brother. The character of Adeline Rudolph takes on this part.
Renée’s personal stake in the case gives the investigation a second angle beyond Neagley’s friendship with Tommy. Her desire to escape her administrative assistant role and find closure on her brother’s disappearance pushes the case forward.
Pierce Woodrow Faces Pressure at Invection
Pierce Woodrow is the face of Invention Pharmaceuticals, and he knows that being eye candy won’t cut it anymore. The company he founded with the goal of transforming trauma treatment is approaching its deadline for producing actual results. Matthew Del Negro plays the part.
His standing as a prosperous man within the pharmaceutical business gives the narrative a corporate layer. The demand to produce results produces a sense of urgency around his character.
Lawrence Cole Hides a Deadly Secret
Damon Herriman plays Lawrence Cole, who is more than the plain farmer he seems. Beneath his charming manner and his concern for his crops lies a deadly secret, one concealed by the very guise he has fashioned for himself.
The case has a wildcard in Cole, whose two sides make him a real threat to the investigation. Under his calm farm exterior lies something far darker.
Arvid Rawlings Runs Nine Countries
Arvid Rawlings is a mastermind in crime. He holds citizenship in nine countries, owns a privately held biotech empire, and commands mercenaries. He particularly dislikes threats to his operations. Peter Outerbridge plays the role.
Rawlings has vast resources at his disposal, which allow him to operate on a global scale and complicate efforts to investigate him. The combination of his empire and his hired fighters gives him the means to withstand attempts to uncover his activities, turning him into a strong adversary in the season’s narrative.

Our View on the Spinoff

Tommy’s fate is the backbone of the show’s emphasis on Neagley”s narrative arc. A cast of secondary players rounds out the ensemble, while the blend of crime boss, seer and investigator ensures the plot stays surprising.
