Konami has announced Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX, a remake of the beloved Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TAG FORCE 3. The game is available for pre-order now on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The remake lets players relive their final year at Duel Academy, pick a partner from over 100 visually upgraded characters, and master the art of Tag Dueling. Konami released a trailer alongside the announcement, showing off the modernized look and the game’s new features.

Over 3,800 Cards and Modern Dueling

Classic Dueling is back and rebuilt with more than 3,800 cards, including fan-favorite cards that were not in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TAG FORCE 3. Players can build a Deck and develop strategies to secure victory against opponents in both Tag and 1v1 Duels.

The game also brings back student life at Duel Academy. Players can explore, investigate, and take part in extracurricular activities, with new and renewed mini-games included. Online Multiplayer supports Casual Duels and Room Matches, letting Duelists face off against players around the world.

A Gallery Mode lets players revisit story scenes from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TAG FORCE 1 and Yu-Gi-Oh! GX TAG FORCE 2.

Physical Editions Come With Rare Cards

Ordering the physical edition for either Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch rewards Duelists with three special cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME. Two of those cards make their physical debut 20 years after their appearances in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime.

The three bonus cards are:

  • Yubel (Starlight Rare) – A powerful card with alternate artwork.
  • Wicked Canon (Ultra Rare) – The physical debut of this card.
  • Hope for the Future (Ultra Rare) – A new card that calls upon Elemental HERO Neos.

The Steam version of the game includes a digital e-book that expands the world of Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX.

Pre-Order Bonuses by Platform

Pre-ordering the game rewards different items depending on the platform. Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch eShop pre-orders come with a Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL code that unlocks digital versions of Yubel, Wicked Canon, and Hope for the Future, plus a Winged Kuriboh Duel Mate.

Steam pre-orders include wallpapers and icons. The bonus items for Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL are available in regions where that game is accessible.
