Star Trek is bringing its generations together for the franchise’s 60th anniversary. Star Trek Online will host a massive multi-Spock event later this year, uniting three versions of the iconic character in one storyline. The news came via an official announcement from Arc and Cryptic, as reported by TrekMovie.
The event is part of a larger update called “Rediscovered,” which continues the remaster of the game’s “The Ultimate Klingon” storyline. Players will chase a temporal mystery across Star Trek history, meeting Spock at different ages along the way.
Three Actors, One Spock
Ethan Peck, who plays Spock in Strange New Worlds, will voice Lieutenant Spock. Piotr Michael will take on Captain Spock from the game Resurgence. Archival audio will cover Leonard Nimoy’s take on the character.
Zachary Quinto is not involved in this project. That leaves fans with three Spocks, not four, for this particular crossover.
The Temporal Mystery
The new mission follows the disappearances of Lieutenant Miral Paris and Ambassador B’vat. Time is beginning to fracture across the galaxy, and key members of the Federation and the Klingon Empire have vanished.
“Her final message on the Gateway Planet will send players on a temporal chase across Star Trek history where captains meet Spock through the ages and continue the quest to stop B’vat,” Arc and Cryptic said of the mission.
PC and Console Dates
PC players get the “Rediscovered” update on September 22. Console players wait until November 10. The multi-Spock event runs as part of that update.
This is not the only anniversary content on the way. The game will add multiple bonus items, including starships from The Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine, Enterprise, and Starfleet Academy.
The Roadmap to February 2027
All of that content will arrive by February 2027, according to the latest roadmap. Star Trek Online has been running since 2010, and the anniversary push shows the game still has momentum.
The franchise itself began with Star Trek: The Original Series, created by Gene Roddenberry. The first episode aired September 8, 1966. William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy led the original cast, and the franchise has grown across dozens of shows and films since.
A Rare Crossover
The Next Generation and Voyager have long been fan favorites. Their casts include Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, Kate Mulgrew, and Jeri Ryan, among many others.
The multi-Spock event is a rare chance to hear three actors play the same role in one mission. Peck’s younger Spock, Michael’s captain-era Spock, and Nimoy’s archival voice will all appear in the same storyline.
What the Anniversary Adds
Beyond the Spock event, the anniversary items include ships from five different Trek series. That gives players a reason to return even if the temporal storyline does not grab them.
The “Rediscovered” update is the latest chapter in a story that began with the earlier “Undiscovered” reimagining.
