Big Brother 28’s Week 10 was a double eviction night, and Drew Campbell ended up deciding the fate of two houseguests — one of whom he had just saved from elimination. The episode settled the final five, and the twist for this week means two more will leave the house.
HOH Competition
The Head of Household competition involved collecting water from cacti that sprouted at different times. Houseguests had to fill their cowboy hats with water, then dump it into a tube to collect a ball inside. The fastest time won.
Yash Patel won in 11 minutes and 33 seconds. Taylor Brown was close behind but could not beat his time. The win gave Yash control of the nominations, but it also brought back a deal he had made with Survivor’s Dee Valladares.
The Bribe Deal
Yash had promised Valladares he would not put her or any of the icons up on his next HOH. He had given her $5,000 for her BB Bribe, making the deal binding. Yash wanted to win HOH so he could flush the deal before it got to the end.
But he only told the newer houseguests that the deal applied to Dee alone. The others were not sure what to believe. That uncertainty hung over the rest of the week.
Pressure Cooker
Drew Campbell won the Pressure Cooker competition, surviving over 13 hours of standing on a pedestal while holding a long stick to a plate on a podium. He survived the longest of anyone.
Afterward, Yash and Drew made a deal. Yash agreed not to put Drew up and not to vote out Taylor. Yash dropped out of contention, and Drew won.
Blockbuster and Votes
In the final Blockbuster of the season, Melody Morris shocked everyone by banking five balls first. She guided them through a maze and won her first competition, an important one. Barrett Pfiffer and Taylor remained on the block.
In a three-to-one vote, Barrett was evicted from the Big Brother house. Drew, one of Barrett’s biggest allies, voted to evict him rather than leaving it a tie and letting Yash decide.
DE HOH and Final Vote
Melody won the Double Eviction HOH. She put up Dee Valladares and Rick Devens. Devens won the POV and took himself off the block.
That left Melody with a problem. She put up Yash in Devens’s place. Instead of getting out an icon, Drew was the deciding vote and chose to vote out Yash, evicting him in a two-to-one vote.
Pharaoh Twist
The final five are Dee, Devens, Taylor, Melody, and Drew. Two houseguests will be voted out this week as the Pharaoh Twist gets unleashed.
Big Brother airs Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS.
Order of Eliminations and Final Five
The order of eliminations matters for understanding how the final five came together:
- Barrett Pfiffer was evicted in the first vote of the night.
- Yash Patel was evicted in the second vote of the night.
