A dark, foggy street scene evoking a horror television series's ominous mood.

FROM, the horror series that critics call the best of its kind on TV, has just hit a new streaming milestone on MGM+. The show has passed 150 days trending on MGM+’s TOP 10 Overall chart from Amazon Channels, a gargantuan feat against huge competition.

The milestone comes ahead of FROM’s final season, which premieres later this year. It is a sign of how much viewers still want to watch the show, even after the finale of season 4 aired back in June.

The 150-Day Run

FROM’s current streak began when its fourth season ended on June 28. Since then, the show has spent nearly three full months on the MGM+ charts without releasing any new episodes. That is a very exciting turn of events for the horror series.

Only one other show has lasted longer on the MGM+ Top 10. SAS Rogue Heroes, a gritty war series compared to HBO’s Band of Brothers, has been trending for a total of 168 days. But the two shows sit in very different positions on the daily chart.

At the time of writing, FROM is the most-watched movie or TV show on MGM+ in the United States. SAS Rogue Heroes is currently in 7th.

A Chart Built For Competition

What makes this milestone harder to reach is the nature of the MGM+ chart itself. Unlike most other streamers, the MGM+ chart is not separated into movies and TV shows. Everything competes together.

That means FROM has had to fight off huge competition from every genre. It is a far tougher test than a chart split by category.

The horror series also holds a near-perfect 96% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes. That puts it ahead of several other major titles on the platform.

  • Kit Harington’s A Tale of Two Cities
  • Titus Welliver’s The Westies
  • The Stephen King adaptation The Shawshank Redemption
  • And more

Why The Streak Matters Now

The timing could not be better for FROM. Season 5 is the final entry for the hit show, having been renewed in April. The upcoming season is all about the payoff.

After introducing several mysteries across four seasons, FROM season 5 aims to answer all lingering questions. Those answers will be fundamental to the show as a whole.

FROM’s Journey To The Top

FROM premiered on Epix and MGM+ back in February 2022. The series has grown through four seasons of mystery and terror.

The show follows Boyd Stevens and Tabitha Matthews. The series was created by John Griffin, who also serves as a writer alongside Vivian Lee, Kristen Layden, Brigitte Hales, Jeff Pinkner, and John Griffin.

Directors have included Jack Bender, Brad Turner, Alexandra La Roche, Bruce McDonald, and Jeff Renfroe.

Horror’s Big Year

Horror is having quite the year in 2026. Several of the most popular movies of the year have come from the genre, including the two huge box office hits Obsession and Backrooms.

Both films found global success with small budgets, a talented team, and intriguing concepts. They proved that horror can work on a massive scale without needing a massive budget.

Now, Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil movie is poised to follow in their footsteps. The film seems set to break franchise records.

Streaming Horror In 2026

The genre is also a top performer on streaming. One of Netflix’s most popular new series of 2026, Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, is a horror thriller.

The show followed the success horror had on streaming at the end of 2025, when HBO Max’s IT: Welcome to Derry became a major hit. As new horror series like Mike Flanagan’s Carrie on Prime Video and the Friday the 13th prequel series Crystal Lake on Peacock approach, FROM’s milestone stands out even more.

What Comes Next

FROM’s final season will need to deliver on everything the show has promised over four years. The stakes are high, and the audience has proven it is ready to watch.

The show’s continued streaming success is impressive given that it has not released new episodes since June. That is a very exciting turn of events for the horror series.

The 150-day milestone is a sign of how much viewers still want to watch FROM. It is a gargantuan feat against huge competition.

The show’s creators have set a high bar for themselves. The final season will need to answer all lingering questions to live up to the show’s reputation.
