Hulu has a lot of new shows to sell you this fall, and it has decided to do so with discounts. The streaming service is running a range of bundle deals through September 2026, including a six-month offer on its Disney+ and Hulu package that drops the price temporarily. Here is what is on offer.

Disney+ and Hulu Offer

The standard Disney+ and Hulu bundle costs $12.99 per month with ads, or $19.99 per month without. Disney has dropped the price on the ad-supported plan to $11.99 per month for six months, then raises it back to $12.99. The ad-free plan goes to $17.99 per month for six months, then returns to $19.99.

Disney calls this “an ongoing offer for people who want to subscribe for a longer period to save on the average monthly cost,” and it is available to both new and eligible returning subscribers. The deal is only available on Disney’s website.

HBO Max Bundle

Hulu also runs a bundle with Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max. The ad-supported version costs $19.99 per month, which is a savings of 42 percent compared to paying for each service separately. The ad-free version is $32.99 per month, a savings of 41 percent.

Student Discount

Students enrolled at a university can get the ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu bundle for $6.49 per month. That is half off the regular $12.99 rate, but the offer only lasts “so long as student enrollment status remains verified.” After that, it goes back up to $12.99.

Sports Packages

Hulu also sells sports-focused plans that add ESPN Select or ESPN Unlimited. ESPN describes the two options clearly: “ESPN Select includes ESPN+ content only. Fans who want ESPN+ exclusively may subscribe to the ESPN Select plan. ESPN Unlimited includes all of the ESPN networks and services, including ESPN+.”

The Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited bundle with ads costs $35.99 per month. The premium ad-free version is $44.99 per month. The ESPN Select versions are cheaper: $21.99 per month with ads, $32.99 per month without.

Plan Price
Disney+ and Hulu (with ads) $12.99 per month
Disney+ and Hulu Premium (no ads) $19.99 per month
Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max (with ads) $19.99 per month
Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Premium (no ads) $32.99 per month
Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select (with ads) $21.99 per month
Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select Premium (no ads) $32.99 per month
Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited (with ads) $35.99 per month
Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Unlimited Premium (no ads) $44.99 per month

Standalone Plans

If you just want Hulu by itself, the ad-supported tier costs $11.99 per month. The ad-free version is $18.99 per month. Hulu also offers a Live TV plan that adds cable channels and DVR for $89.99 per month with ads, or $99.99 per month without.

“Fans who want ESPN+ exclusively may subscribe to the ESPN Select plan.”

What to Watch

Hulu’s library includes season 2 of Chad, The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Shards, and Furious. The site also points readers toward its roundups of the 30 best comedies, the 25 best sci-fi movies, and the 26 best horror movies on Hulu, plus a breakdown of the 25 best shows.

Our Take

These are real discounts, and the six-month Disney+ and Hulu offer is the standout. Paying $11.99 for six months beats the standard $12.99 rate, even if the price rises afterward. The student deal is also worth noting at $6.49 per month.

The sports packages are a mixed bag. ESPN Select is cheaper than ESPN Unlimited, but the latter gives you everything ESPN offers. The savings on the full Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max bundle are substantial, and the 41 percent and 42 percent figures show the value clearly.

The standalone Hulu prices are fine, but the Live TV plan at $89.99 per month with ads feels steep for what you get. The three-day free trial helps, but it is still a heavy monthly commitment.

The biggest question is why Disney is pushing this six-month offer. The company’s statement is vague, and the deal is only available on Disney’s site, which means you cannot get it through Hulu directly.

For anyone who wants Disney+, Hulu, and HBO Max without the hassle of three separate payments, the bundled price is the clear winner. For students, the discounted plan is a no-brainer. For sports fans, the ESPN Select option keeps costs down while still giving you access to the streamers.

The discounts are live now, and the six-month offer is available for those who want it.
