Thursday saw the launch of a new menu at Dog Haus, with the Pasadena, California-based chain adding or redesigning 33 items. Among the changes, the brand has introduced a fresh grilled chicken category that stands alone.

33 Items Added or Reimagined

In total, the chain has added or reimagined 33 items across the menu. The changes span Dog Haus’ full range of offerings, from hot dogs and sausages to burgers, chicken, sharables and “Bad-Ass” breakfast items, with the new dedicated grilled chicken category headlining the overhaul.

Cali Chick Anchors New Grilled Chicken Line

The grilled chicken section opens with the Cali Chick, which has already become a top seller for the Pasadena, California-based chain. The sandwich comes with all-natural, humanely raised chicken breast topped with white American cheese, avocado, tomato, wild arugula and spicy basil aioli, served on a grilled Big Marty’s sesame seed bun.

The category also carries grilled chicken in several other flavors, among them Nashville hot, Southwestern, barbecue and sweet-and-spicy.

“Chicken has become so popular with our guests that adding grilled chicken options was an easy decision,” said Garen Khodaverdian, Dog Haus’ chief operating officer, in a statement. “We’re continuing to build on the foundation of our founders established by expanding the menu with more choices, more flavors and the quality ingredients our guests have come to expect from Dog Haus.”

Hogfather Joins Hot Dog Offerings

The Hogfather has arrived in the hot dog category, a creation featuring all-natural pork bratwurst paired with bacon chipotle onion jam, chipotle aioli, and miso ranch.

A new burger comes topped with Bacon Onion Jam, paired with white American cheese, pickles, shredded lettuce, El Gallo BBQ sauce and miso ranch. The burgers all use Black Angus beef and come on King’s Hawaiian buns.

“We’re continuing to build on the foundation of our founders established by expanding the menu with more choices, more flavors and the quality ingredients our guests have come to expect from Dog Haus.”

Sharables and Breakfast Items Join the Lineup

The update brings several new items to share, among them Pretzel Bites, Garlic Cotija Fries and Tot-Chos.

The entire line of chain staples is covered by the menu, running from hot dogs and sausages through burgers and chicken all the way to “Bad-Ass” breakfast dishes.

A Busy Year for Dog Haus

A year of notable alterations at the chain culminates with the menu overhaul. The company has also revealed an unconventional franchising model, brought on new management, launched its first overseas establishment in Mexico, and changed its beverage supplier.

Dog Haus was founded in 2010 by three people: Hagop Giragossian, Quasim Riaz and Andre Vener. The chain now runs more than 50 locations.

Reaching for 1,500 Locations

The chain’s new franchising strategy calls for expanding to 1,500 locations across the country.

The broader restaurant industry has faced headwinds this year. According to the Technomic Top 500, chain restaurant sales slowed again in 2025 as consumers cut back on dining, though sectors like coffee, beverages, snacks and chicken thrived.

Founders Built the Foundation

Giragossian, Riaz and Vener started Dog Haus in 2010.

The expansion preserves the quality guests expect even as it adds “more choices, more flavors”, according to Khodaverdian’s statement, which ties the new offerings to that original vision.

Menu Rollout Complete

The new menu, with its 33 added or reimagined items, rolled out Thursday.

Under the new franchising plan, Dog Haus has set a specific target for expansion, with the 1,500-location goal now in place. This strategic move positions the company for substantial growth.
