Shakira has turned her Madrid residency into a weekly guest-star extravaganza, and the crowds keep coming back for more. The 12-concert Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour series runs through Oct. 11 at Estadio Shakira, a temporary venue at Iberdrola Music, and each night brings a fresh surprise. With around 55,000 people attending each show, the stadium is packed for what Billboard called the highest-grossing tour by a Hispanic artist, earning $421.6 million across 86 shows.
The first two nights had no guests, but the hits — “Girl Like Me,” “Te Felicito,” “TQG,” “Soltera” and “Hips Don’t Lie” — carried the two-hour show. Then the guests started arriving.
Laura Pausini’s Tearful Appearance
Laura Pausini appeared on Sept. 20 to sing “Antología” with Shakira. The Italian singer had already covered the Pies Descalzos (1995) classic on her album Yo Canto 2 (2026), but this was the first time she performed it with the original artist.
“I don’t know if it showed on the big screen, but her eyes were filled with tears,” Pausini said before joking about Shakira’s latest album. “The album is Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran (Women Don’t Cry Anymore), but tonight there’s one woman who’s going to cry tears of happiness, and that’s me.” The two ended the performance in an embrace.
The Triplets Ghetto Kids Return
The Ugandan dance collective joined Shakira twice during “Dai Dai,” the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. They first shared the stage at the World Cup final performance and returned on Oct. 3 for another night.
Alejandro Sanz for Two Nights
Alejandro Sanz joined Shakira for two consecutive nights. On Sept. 25, they performed “La Tortura,” their 2005 hit. The next night added “Corazón Partío,” which they sang together for the first time.
“Alejandro, I love you!” Shakira shouted as she bid him farewell after the first night. Sanz later posted on social media: “Two nights with you, and my ‘corazón partío’ (broken heart) feels fuller than ever.”
Manuel Turizo’s Teased Debut
Manuel Turizo appeared on Sept. 27, following a tease from Shakira on social media the day before. The two Colombians performed their 2023 collaboration “Copa Vacía” live for the first time.
Dua Lipa’s Biggest Surprise
Dua Lipa’s appearance on Oct. 3 was one of the biggest surprises of the residency. Shakira invited her to sing “Antología,” and the two shared the stage for the first time.
“For me, it’s an honor and a privilege to sing this song, which means so much to me, with this woman who is so admired and loved around the world,” Shakira said before welcoming the British star. “Today, I officially declare myself your fan.” After their performance, Shakira said, “Oh my, oh my, what this tour was missing.”
Dua Lipa had previously performed “Antología” in November 2025 during her show in Bogota as part of her Radical Optimism Tour. After the concert, she shared her excitement on Instagram: “I felt that you, me, and the audience were one. Very grateful to take home such a beautiful memory!!!”
What the Guest List Says
Shakira has been posting updates throughout the residency, including her own reflections on Instagram. Midway through, she wrote: “We’re halfway through our residency! 6 concerts in total, and each one has had an incredible energy. It’s impossible to say which of the 6 has been the best; they’ve all been absolutely spectacular. Thank you, Madrid, for being with me!”
The guest list has delivered a steady stream of highlights. From Laura Pausini’s emotional moment to Dua Lipa’s unexpected appearance, each arrival adds a new chapter to the story.
“Today, I officially declare myself your fan.”
That line sums up the whole enterprise. Shakira is doing what she does best: making every show feel like a first. The residency still has a few nights left, and the question now is who will show up next.
