On Saturday (Oct. 3), Ciara surprised everyone by stepping into Junya Watanabe’s Spring 2027 ready-to-wear show in Paris, taking the runway three separate times — and she did it with her baby bump on full display for each of those appearances.
After the show, Vogue and Ciara posted a joint Instagram announcement that exposed the secret. They shared video of the 40-year-old performer walking through the presentation while wearing a succession of progressively more striking outfits. Every look revolved around purple leggings and a matching cropped top adorned with vivid pink racing-inspired stripes, set off by a low-slung black belt and red heeled boots.
The Three Looks That Made the Runway
For her first appearance, Ciara wore a tan trench coat over the colorful base, paired with a black embellished cap. Her second walk saw a change in outerwear: she traded the trench for a black leather jacket with a distressed look, adorned with dangling hardware and metallic embellishments.

“I was honestly afraid that when I mentioned I was with child, you say it doesn’t fit the vision anymore, but you said YES!!” she continued.
