Lego has pulled back the curtain on its next Batman wave, and the headline act is a Batmobile straight out of the Arkham games. The three sets arrive in 2027, with prices ranging from $29.99 for the Arkham Knight Batmobile to $169.99 for a massive Joker wall art display.
The Arkham Knight Batmobile is the centerpiece. Based on Batman’s ride from 2015’s Batman: Arkham Knight, it is a 317-piece set with working suspension, a new windscreen mold and curved pieces that recreate the shape of its video game counterpart. It comes with a new Arkham Batman minifigure, and it launches on January 1, 2027.
The Arkham Knight Batmobile
The $29.99 price tag is low for a Batman set. The working suspension is the real draw. The curved pieces are worth noting too. They are used to recreate the shape of the video game counterpart, which means the finished model should hold its shape rather than looking like a box with wheels attached.
The new Arkham Batman minifigure is a bonus. It comes with the set.
Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck
The Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck set is a 672-piece build priced at $59.99. It includes both Batman’s Batmobile and Penguin’s Duck vehicle, along with Batman and Penguin minifigures. The latter is the first Penguin minifigure based specifically on his appearance in Batman Returns.
This set is a nostalgia trip. Tim Burton’s 1992 movie gave Batman a dark, gothic look, and this set captures it. The Duck vehicle is a neat touch — it is Penguin’s vehicle from the film, and it comes with the set.
The Penguin minifigure is the star here. It is the first based on his appearance in Batman Returns. That is a small detail, but it matters to collectors who want accuracy.
Joker Wall Art Comic Cover Set
The largest and most expensive of the three is the Joker Wall Art Comic Cover set. It contains 1,849 pieces and costs $169.99. The finished model measures roughly 20 inches tall and 15 inches wide, and it can be hung on a wall.
This set is a display piece first and a playset second. It recreates one of the Joker’s most recognizable comic book covers, and the sheer size of the set — 1,849 pieces — suggests it is a major undertaking. The finished model is roughly 20 inches tall and 15 inches wide, which means it will take up significant space on a shelf or a wall.
The set is priced at $169.99, which puts it at the high end of Lego’s Batman offerings. It is the most expensive of the three sets, and it comes with the most pieces.
Launch Date and Price Range
All three sets launch on January 1, 2027. The price range runs from $29.99 for the Arkham Knight Batmobile to $169.99 for the Joker wall art set.
| Set | Pieces | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Arkham Knight Batmobile | 317 | $29.99 |
| Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck | 672 | $59.99 |
| Joker Wall Art Comic Cover | 1,849 | $169.99 |
The price range is wide, but it reflects the scale of each set. The Arkham Knight Batmobile is on the lower end, while the Joker wall art set is at the upper end.
What This Means for Collectors
The release dates are all in 2027. For collectors, the Joker wall art set is the standout. It is a display piece that can be hung on a wall, which makes it a talking point for anyone who walks into the room. The Arkham Knight Batmobile is the budget option, and the Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck set sits in the middle.
The Batman Returns Batmobile & Duck set is a solid choice for fans of the film. It includes both vehicles and both minifigures, which means you get everything in one box. The Penguin minifigure is a first, which makes the set worth considering even if you already have other Batman sets.
