A former military intelligence officer has appeared on a podcast to describe how US forces shot and killed reptilian aliens following a spacecraft crash, with the encounter leaving American personnel dead and wounded.
During his appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, David Grusch, a former Air Force and intelligence officer, made the allegations. He described the supposed creatures as standing more than seven feet tall, with gorilla-like builds and scaly skin. Grusch said he had never personally seen the reptilian beings, instead relaying accounts from people who allegedly encountered them.
His account remains unverified.
The Reptilian Encounter
The question was raised about the creatures said to have lived through the crash, and it concerned their fate. Rogan wanted to know what became of them.
Before confirming that they had been shot, Grusch said “They were killed,”.
Asked why, he replied: “They posed a threat.”
Grusch said US personnel were injured and killed during the encounter, though he did not know the exact number of deaths. He expressed hope that those involved would eventually be able to speak publicly themselves.
He further proposed that some UFO crashes arose from fights between distinct nonhuman groups, noting dead gray aliens were found alongside the reptilians.
“So the grays and the reptilians were duking it out?” Rogan asked.
The story sounded “f**king crazy”, Grusch acknowledged, adding that his information came from insider accounts, classified material and videos rather than personally visiting crash sites.
Related Claims
Eric Davis, a former Pentagon UFO consultant, has made similar claims to Grusch’s account. Davis alleged that the US was keeping bodies from at least four alien species locked away in secret facilities, including reptilians.
In another part of the account, Grusch said he had viewed film of a separate collision where the victims resembled Greek gods. He forecast that his wider claims regarding recovered craft and the copying of their technology would be confirmed prior to the end of Donald Trump’s term.
The Official Position
The Pentagon’s UFO office issued a 2024 review of its findings. It concluded there was no verifiable evidence that the US government or private companies possessed or reverse-engineered extraterrestrial technology.
In past episodes, Rogan has hosted fiery debates on alien theories, with one notable example being Avi Loeb’s assertion that scientists were deliberately shutting down discussion about potential alien technology tied to 3I/ATLAS.
“They posed a threat.”
The whole account depends on secondhand reports and classified material. Grusch says he did not visit the crash sites himself, and his story recognizes its own absurdity. That acknowledgment is worth marking, even though the story itself stretches credulity.
The official stance has not shifted, and it will not until proof emerges to back up the assertions, which contradict what the Pentagon has put in writing.
The tale remains where it has always rested: caught between the documents marked for secrecy and the late-night program that mocks them.
Timeline of Key Events
| Date | Event |
|---|---|
| 2024 review | Pentagon UFO office releases findings |
| Before Trump’s term ends | Grusch predicts vindication of his claims |
The timeline shows the gap between Grusch’s predictions and the official record. The Pentagon’s 2024 review found no verifiable evidence of recovered alien technology. Grusch’s claims remain unverified.
What stands out is how the story presents itself. Grusch admitted the account sounded “f**king crazy”, and he said his information came from insider accounts, classified material and videos. He made no claim of having seen it himself.
It’s hard to tell from this point whether Grusch is being honest or simply making up a tale. What stands out is that the account has made its way to listeners through a major platform. Questions were put forward, and that is what a curious host does.
The Pentagon’s published findings stand in direct opposition to Grusch’s claims. Until verified evidence surfaces, the official position remains unchanged.
The tale remains where it has always rested — between the documents marked as secret and the conversation that airs after dark.
