K-pop star Lisa has teamed up with Meta to launch two pairs of glasses that feature animal case charms and decorations inspired by her life. The announcement came during Meta’s September Connect event, where the company revealed details about the upcoming Tamagotchi-inspired AI gadget Meta Muse, a wave of new Meta Glasses, and more.

The Two New Pairs

The LISA Edition Meta Glasses come in two styles, each with its own frame and lens color. The Meta Adventurer LISA Edition has a Moonlit Sky frame with Blush lenses. The Meta Capri LISA Edition goes for an Eclipse cat-eye frame with grey lenses.

Both pairs support prescriptions, and they start at $399 USD. There is no release date yet, according to the announcement.

The Charms That Come With Them

One of the most unique features of the new glasses is that every pair comes with a surprise charm inspired by one of Lisa’s pets. The charms include:

  • Sleep cats
  • Cute dogs
  • Other animal designs

Fans can collect and customize their case with these charms.

What Else Comes With the Collaboration

The collaboration extends beyond the glasses themselves. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed that the partnership includes a Lisa-themed design in Meta’s app and a virtual try-on filter for the glasses.

Zuckerberg also said the glasses were designed with help from the popular K-pop idol herself. He made the announcement during the Meta Connect 2026 stream.

Lisa’s Own Words

Lisa spoke directly about the collaboration during the stream. Her comments were warm and personal, framing the collection as something rooted in her own stories and experiences.

“I’m so excited about launching my new glasses in collaboration with Meta,” Lisa said. “I’ve always wanted to design something like this, so thank you so much for this opportunity.”

She added that the collection draws from her personal stories and experiences, and that there are two pairs to choose from. She also pointed to the charms, which were inspired by her own pets.

“I hope you can collect them and decorate them with the case,” she said. “I can’t wait to share these glasses with my fans in LA next week, so I’ll see you there.”

The Larger Picture

This is not the first time Lisa has used her fame to cross over into tech. She has also teamed up with PlayStation to release her own limited-edition PS5 controller and merch.

The Meta collaboration follows a similar pattern. It is a branded product aimed at fans who want a piece of their favorite artist.

Our View on the Launch

The glasses are a branded product aimed at fans who want a piece of their favorite artist. At $399 USD, they are positioned as a premium item, and the charms — based on Lisa’s actual pets — are the kind of detail that makes them feel more like a collector’s item than a tool.

They are not a practical purchase for most people. They are a statement of fandom, a way to wear a celebrity endorsement on your face.

That is not necessarily a bad thing. Luxury tech has always been about showing off, and Lisa’s fans will likely find the charms endearing rather than frivolous.

But the price tag is real. For $399, you get glasses with a themed design, a try-on filter, and a pet-inspired charm. Whether that combination justifies the cost is a question only a fan could answer.

The glasses are set for release in LA next week, per Lisa’s announcement. For now, the announcement stands as a reminder that in the world of K-pop, even the smallest detail can become a headline.
