Nagash, Supreme Lord of the Undead

Among the four new lords, Nagash stands out as the most notorious. His aim is plain: to remake the world into one vast Land of the Dead. A master of spells beyond most others, he can draw forth soldiers from every race of the dead. This grants players a singular freedom in building their armies and waging war.

Thanquol and Boneripper

Boneripper serves as Thanquol’s living mount, a Rat Ogre bodyguard that carries him into battle. Thanquol himself is the most daring strategist among the Skaven, though he also suffers from a constant stream of accidents. His specialties include deception, sabotage, and overwhelming foes with massive armies of Skaven warriors. Players can put these traits to use by executing elaborate Masterplans, outwitting rival factions, seizing territory through cunning rather than honor, and letting chaos run wild across the campaign.

The Glottkin

The Plague Lord commands the Glottkin, three siblings who have turned to corruption. Otto holds a scythe, Ethrac works magic as a sorcerer, and Ghurk serves as their colossal Chaos Spawn brother of twisted flesh. Combined, the three form a single terrible fighter that blends physical force with magical power.

The campaign is built on corruption, poisoning the lands of every realm they take over, turning settlements into festering strongholds. It wears down enemies through plague, attrition, and constant warfare.

Boris Todbringer

The Elector Count of Middenland, Boris Todbringer, is one of the Empire’s most celebrated warriors. He wields his legendary sword Legbiter and fights at the forefront of battle, inspiring those beneath him while breaking enemy lines through direct combat. Commanders can lead troops drawn from across the Empire, with newly added Middenland units and the devoted followers of the wolf god Ulric included among them.

The Free Update

Total War: WARHAMMER III’s biggest free update ever comes with Lords of the End Times, and it caps off the package with Neferata, the Vampire Queen. She commands secret vampire covens and wields them to pull strings behind the scenes against rival factions.

Only players who own Nagash or any Vampire Counts–related content can unlock Neferata. Major updates are planned for both the Vampire Counts and Archaon the Everchosen, along with three new end-game scenarios drawn from some of Warhammer’s most notorious apocalyptic events.

The package is rounded out by revised triumph rules for each legacy Legendary Lord alongside a great many other enhancements.
