The London-based tech firm Nothing has signed BTS’ V as its global brand ambassador for the launch of its Headphone (1) Pro, which the company describes as its highest-quality audio offering to date. The headphones carry a price tag of $399, and they go on sale today (Sept. 28) at Nothing, Amazon and Best Buy stores across the U.S.
Nothing’s Pro Series opens with the launch, a push to bring studio-grade listening to everyday consumers. In August, V spoke publicly about receiving treatment for hearing loss in one ear. Now he has become the face of a product that centers on creative freedom.
“I’m excited to be part of this bold new chapter with Nothing,” says V. “Headphone (1) Pro is a design grounded in creative expression, and I look forward to our journey together.”
The Design Specs
Three drivers combine inside Headphone (1) Pro to produce fuller sound with more detail. They give deeper bass, clearer vocals and more defined instruments all at once. Built from titanium and aluminum, the headphones stay light because of soft ear cushions and a wider padded headband that make long listening sessions comfortable.
The battery lasts up to 68 hours on a single charge.
The headphones use 10 microphones to filter out external sounds such as wind and traffic, which is how noise cancellation works. They also come with redesigned cushions that form a tighter seal around the ears. Tuned at Metropolis Studios, they deliver studio-inspired sounds, spatial audio, and five sound profiles that users can customize.
Why V Matters to Nothing
Nothing, a consumer technology company, was founded in 2020. Its aim is to rethink personal tech by blending design, culture, and creativity into everything it does. The firm produces smartphones and audio products, with a stated goal of making technology fun again while encouraging human creativity once more.
“V has an instinct for fearless experimentation. He’s always pushing into different sounds and styles — he follows his creative instincts, not tried-and-tested formulas, and that’s exactly what we wanted to capture with Headphone (1) Pro,” says Nothing co-founder and CEO Carl Pei.
Pei frames V as the ideal fit for a product aimed at the next generation of creatives. “We’ve built it to give people more freedom and flexibility in everyday listening. V was the perfect choice as we define technical excellence for the next generation of creatives.”
Charli xcx has signed on as Nothing’s first global brand ambassador and shareholder, an arrangement that began in spring 2026. The company has also introduced Club Nothing, a music fund designed to support emerging nightlife curators.
The Irony of the Endorsement
What stands out is the timing. V revealed in August that he had received treatment for hearing loss in one ear. He is now promoting a product that is explicitly about better listening.
On paper, it reads as an odd pairing. Yet the proposal centers on freedom and flexibility for daily listening, and V’s creative instincts are precisely what Nothing wants to capture. The company is positioning the headphones as tools for people who move between genres and settings, and V’s constant musical work matches that story.
What Nothing Actually Does
Phones and audio equipment aren’t manufactured by it; instead, its stores operate from two cities: London and Bengaluru, with further locations set to open in San Francisco, New York and Tokyo. The company’s method rests on design, culture and creativity, rather than strict technical specifications.
The company’s stated goal is to bring enjoyment back into technology use. This represents a clear shift away from the practical language employed by most consumer electronics companies.
The Charli Precedent
Nothing named Charli xcx as its first global brand ambassador and shareholder in spring 2026, and at the same time the company rolled out Club Nothing, a fund built to back up-and-coming nightlife curators.
The V deal pushes that pattern further into K-pop ground. Two major ambassadors now represent different scenes — pop and K-pop — with each one tied to a shareholding arrangement.
What the Headphones Deliver
The standout feature is noise cancellation, which relies on ten microphones to filter out wind and traffic while redesigned cushions seal around the ears for a tighter fit.
Here’s what sets Headphone (1) Pro apart:
- Three drivers producing fuller sound with more detail
- 10 microphones filtering out wind and traffic noise
- Five customizable sound profiles
- Soft ear cushions and a wider padded headband
- Studio-inspired tuning at Metropolis Studios
- Up to 68 hours of battery life
Five distinct sound profiles are available for personalization, allowing listeners to shape the audio output according to their individual preferences. The headphones accommodate a range of tonal adjustments, from richer bass to more prominent vocals, so users can fine-tune the sound to match what they enjoy most.
The Bottom Line
Headphone (1) Pro is a solid entry in the premium over-ear category. It offers a balanced sound profile, strong noise cancellation and a long battery life, all wrapped in a light, comfortable build.
The product earns star power from V’s endorsement, yet it holds its ground independently. A $399 price tag places it among premium offerings, while its 68-hour battery life offers a distinct value proposition.
Across the U.S., the headphones can be found for sale at Nothing, Amazon, and Best Buy stores.
