SCG CON is back for 2027, and the first half of its schedule is out. The trading card game festival runs across six stops in the early months of next year, with shows in Minneapolis, St. Louis, San Diego, Louisville, Seattle, Richmond, and Hartford. Each location hosts tournaments, side events, vendors, artists, and guests, plus plenty of chances to play, trade, and meet fellow gamers.
The full lineup covers Magic: The Gathering, Riftbound, and other fan-favorite trading card games. Details for each event’s Magic main event will be added at a later date. For now, the dates and cities are locked in.
Minneapolis Opens The Year
SCG CON Minneapolis runs January 8–10, 2027, at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis, MN. It is the first stop of the season.
SCG CON St. Louis follows immediately after, January 22–24, 2027, at America’s Center Convention Complex in St. Louis, MO.
Both shows start the year with back-to-back events.
West Coast Stretch
San Diego gets its turn February 5–7, 2027, at the San Diego Convention Center. That is the first West Coast stop of the tour.
Louisville comes next, April 16–18, 2027, at the Kentucky International Convention Center. Seattle follows April 23–25, 2027, at the Seattle Convention Center | Arch in Seattle, WA.

Richmond And Hartford Close The Early Months
Richmond, VA, hosts May 21–23, 2027, at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Hartford, CT, closes the first half of the schedule June 11–13, 2027, at the Connecticut Convention Center.
The schedule spans five months and seven cities.

Each SCG CON stop includes competitive tournaments, side events, vendors, artists, and special guests. The events offer something for every level of player, from casual traders to serious competitors.
