The subscription service from Disney+ has been joined with Vidio, an Indonesian streamer, which means viewers can now find Marvel movies, Star Wars shows and Korean dramas alongside Premier League soccer and the BRI Super League in one package.

The joint offering is called the “Vidio Ultimate Disney+ All Screen Bundle.” It combines Disney’s film slate, franchises and APAC originals with Vidio’s exclusive series, live TV streaming and sports lineup. Subscribers get ESPN programming on Disney+ too — live coverage, documentaries and studio shows — on top of Vidio’s own international and local rights.

What’s in the Package

The Disney+ side of the bundle includes 20th Century Studios’ “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” and Marvel Studios’ “Deadpool & Wolverine.” It also carries FX series “Shōgun” and “The Bear,” plus shows like “Moving” and “A Shop for Killers.”

More titles remain to be added, among them “The Remarried Empress” and “Merry Berry Love.”.

On Vidio’s side, the bundle draws on the platform’s own original slate and its sports catalog. Vidio’s original slate now tops 110 series, and the platform carries more than 70 global and national sports competitions, among them Wimbledon, Formula 1 and MotoGP.

A Taste of Disney+

Not everyone has to buy the bundle to try it. Every Vidio user with an active subscription can sample Disney+ through a “Taste of Disney+” collection on the Indonesian platform.

This selection brings together separate installments from the Korean original “Flex X Cop” Season 2, the U.S. crime comedy-drama “High Potential,” the animated series “Sofia the First”, and the medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy.”. The lineup shifts over time and exists to point viewers toward the complete package.

The selection of titles on offer reads as a pleasing assortment of choices. Sofia the First shares space with Grey’s Anatomy, while High Potential and Flex X Cop stand for Korean and U.S. originals. The point behind it is plain: give people a chance to try what Disney+ has to offer before they pay the full cost.

Content Flows Both Ways

Disney+ subscribers will gain access to a selection of Vidio’s programming, including Vidio Original Series and sinetron, the local TV soaps, under the partnership, which is mutual rather than one-sided.

No timing was given for that rollout.

Why Indonesia Matters

Media Partners Asia says Vidio has led the streaming market in Indonesia for four years running. That makes Indonesia a large prize.

Vidio CEO Sutanto Hartono framed the deal as a natural fit. “As entertainment consumption continues to evolve, audiences are looking for greater choice and better value from their subscriptions,” he said. “Alongside the bundle, the ‘Taste of Disney+’ collection will bring select Disney stories directly to audiences on Vidio, complementing our Indonesian originals and sports offering.”

The companies point to Vidio’s own t-Survey 2025, which found that 77% of the platform’s connected TV audience watches together in groups of at least three family members.

Disney’s Run of Regional Deals

Disney+ has already built partnerships across Asia for years, and this is not its first such deal.

Disney+ entered into a subscription bundle with TVING and Wavve in Korea in 2025, joining forces with two local streaming services. Soon after, a TVING Collection was introduced on Disney+ Japan as a separate offering. In Korea, the service has also taken over SPOTV’s MLB coverage for the current season.

Astro broadened its Disney+ distribution arrangement in July, agreeing to furnish local productions such as “Ola Bola” and “Polis Evo” to the platform. In Japan, where Disney+ has been tied to Hulu Japan since 2023, TBS’s international production unit The Seven struck a multi-year deal in April to build live-action shows together for the service.

The Disney+ Playbook in Asia

The Walt Disney Company’s senior VP and general manager of direct-to-consumer, Asia Pacific, Tony Zameczkowski, explained how the deals were put together.

He said “By bringing Disney+’s beloved films and award-winning series together with Vidio’s local entertainment ecosystem, we’re elevating the streaming experience for fans and new audiences,” and then “Indonesia is an incredibly exciting market for Disney+, and we’re delighted to collaborate with Vidio. This announcement is part of our focus on accelerating collaborations to expand the reach, engagement and fandom of Disney+ in APAC, creating more value and content choices for subscribers.”.

“By bringing Disney+’s beloved films and award-winning series together with Vidio’s local entertainment ecosystem, we’re elevating the streaming experience for fans and new audiences.”

Across the region, the approach stays consistent: Disney+ grabs local rights holders, bundles them into one subscription deal, and adds global franchises to support the cost.

What This Means for Viewers

The bundle is designed for families who want everything in one place. Vidio’s survey data shows households gather around screens, and the bundle’s sports lineup — Premier League, UEFA Champions League and the BRI Super League — offers a broad mix of competition.

The “Taste of Disney+” series serves as an easy introduction to the material. Each episode can be tried individually, so getting started costs nothing.

The Bottom Line

The arrangement hinges on scale. Disney+ has partnered with Indonesia’s leading streaming service, and in return, Vidio gains access to a global library of film and television properties to underpin its premium subscription tier.

Disney+ has found a clever way to market itself by mixing genres across its menu. This approach allows the platform to appear alongside Sofia the First without sacrificing its reputation, while also giving Vidio subscribers a taste of what they might be missing before they decide to sign up.

It is still uncertain whether the package will turn casual viewers into subscribers.

Disney+’s plan is simple: it wants global franchises, local original programming, and live sports to be enough reason for viewers to subscribe.

Both services arrive with a complete lineup of titles across the board. The firms are still working toward adding Vidio content to Disney+. Until then, the pairing stands as a declaration of purpose: Disney+ is positioning itself as the one subscription that covers everything, and Indonesia is the test case for that ambition.
