Carly Rae Jepsen is heading out on tour, and she’s bringing a full slate of stops across North America with her eighth studio album, Day and Night. The Day and Night tour kicks off April 15 in Edmonton, Alberta, and concludes in Montreal on May 29, 2027.

The 26-city trek includes three headline shows at major venues: the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, and Madison Square Garden in New York City. Jepsen will close the tour at MTELUS in Montreal.

The Album Behind the Tour

Day and Night is Jepsen’s first new album of original material since 2023’s The Loveliest Time. It arrives as a double LP with 24 tracks, split across two discs that each hold 12 songs. The record follows a Day and Night theme, with each half of the album tracking that idea.

The announcement comes after the release of the double LP earlier this month.

Videos and Singles

Jepsen has released two singles ahead of the tour. The first is “Versailles,” which comes with a music video inspired by Sofia Coppola’s film Marie Antoinette. The video was filmed in Los Angeles and directed by Kanya Iwana. It shows Jepsen dancing at a party while imagining herself at the famous French chateau.

She also put out “Don’t Leave Me on the Dance Floor,” an ABBA-inspired song, back in August.

Musical Work and Beyond

Jepsen is writing the music and lyrics for the 10 Things I Hate About You musical. The production is set to open on Aug. 17, and she is co-writing the score with producer Ethan Gruska.

She is also a two-time Grammy nominee.

That line comes from a Rolling Stone review of the album, which praised Day and Night as Jepsen’s “most experimental and exhilarating work.”
