On Oct. 3, Spain host Czechia at the Estadio Municipal Carlos Tartiere in the UEFA Nations League, with RTVE streaming it live without charge. But since RTVE is restricted to viewers inside Spain, people outside the country need an alternative method. A VPN is the suggested fix, and ExpressVPN is the tool being promoted for the task.
The Match and the Fix
Spain arrive as the form team. They overcame a stubborn England side and then beat Croatia 4-1. Czechia will need to do something special to take something off the World Cup winners.
The match begins at 2.45 p.m. ET on Oct. 3, with RTVE handling the free broadcast for Spain alone. The VPN fills the gap for viewers who want to watch it elsewhere.
What a VPN Actually Does
When you connect to the internet through a virtual private network, it conceals your true IP address from websites. That number is what web pages use to figure out where you are located. So if you link to a server in Spain via a VPN, RTVE sees you as being in Madrid instead of wherever you actually are.
The steps are simple:
- Sign up for a streaming-friendly VPN (ExpressVPN is the recommendation)
- Download the app to your device of choice
- Open the app and connect to a server in Spain
- Visit RTVE
- Watch Spain vs. Czechia for free from anywhere in the world
Why ExpressVPN Is the Pick
The case for ExpressVPN as the top pick rests on several points.
- Servers in 105 countries, including Spain
- An easy-to-use app available on all major devices, including iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, and more
- A strict no-logging policy so your data is secure
- Fast connection speeds free from throttling
- Up to 10 simultaneous connections
- A 30-day money-back guarantee
The two-year ExpressVPN subscription deal includes an extra four months at no cost, bringing the total price down to $68.40, which works out to a discount of 81%. The offer also bundles a year of free unlimited cloud storage with it. For those who want a shorter commitment, the one-month plan is available for just $12.99.
The Money-Back Trick
The idea is simple: you can watch the game without putting money down. It is not meant for the long term, but it does give you time to stream this match before getting your money back.
The guidance is plain: register for a month of ExpressVPN, tune in to the Spain versus Czechia contest, then end your subscription before the 30-day deadline passes. The refund policy works as a temporary plan, according to the source.
