Grande’s representative said her “much-deserved break” came amid “endless, ongoing public scrutiny.” Weeks back, a representative for Grande said she would be “taking a step back from visibility” after the curtains fell on her Eternal Sunshine Tour.
The statement admitted the split occurred during a period of constant “public scrutiny” concerning her looks over the past few months.
“She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” the representative told People.
On the following day, Grande clarified her intentions and confirmed “set.”, saying that “boundaries”
“It is something that I had decided to plan that I had quietly made a long time ago, and it’s a decision that was made from a thoughtful and empowered place,” she told her fans at the sold-out show.
The Relationship With Alvarez
Since their split in 2016, the pair have stayed on good terms. They were seen together again in Austin, Texas in June. Grande’s romance with Alvarez has been revived, and they went public with it last month by posting photos of each other on Instagram.
