Carín León is heading back to the Sphere. The Mexican singer has announced three return shows for September 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2027, following his historic debut at the Las Vegas venue.
The limited run will once again coincide with Mexican Independence Day celebrations. That tradition has made Las Vegas a major destination for Mexican artists and fans around the holiday.
León’s Sphere Debut
León made history on September 4th as the first Latin artist to headline the Sphere. His opening night featured appearances from country singer Cody Johnson and Monterrey rock trio The Warning.
The shows kicked off a sold-out run at the venue. León described the experience in a post on Instagram.
“What we’re experiencing at Sphere this year has been something I’ll never forget,” he wrote in Spanish. “The energy, love, and response from all of you have made this even bigger than we imagined.”
The Crossover Message
León’s debut at the Sphere marked another milestone in his continued crossover into the US market. In a recent interview, he discussed that crossover and described being Mexican as his “greatest musical weapon.”
He added that Mexicans are now “prouder of our sound than ever before” and that they’re “not trying to imitate music from other countries anymore.”
