Charli XCX has announced a six-date European tour for February, adding performances in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Amsterdam, and Paris to her current schedule. Audrey Hobert will open each show. The announcement comes after tonight’s launch of her Music, Fashion, Film tour.
The run starts 2/13 in Dublin at the 3 Arena and wraps 2/24 in Paris at Accor Arena. All six shows carry the same opening act.
European Tour Dates
Charli XCX just added six new dates to her calendar. The European run starts in Dublin on 2/13 and ends in Paris on 2/24, with stops in Glasgow, Manchester, London, and Amsterdam along the way. The dates span two weeks, running from mid-February into late February.
Why Six Dates?
Charli XCX explained her preference for short runs in August. She told Shaad D’Souza during an interview that long touring is not for her.
“I always have such an admiration for people who go on tour for a long time,” she said. “The stamina that it takes is just not something that I particularly care to get. And the monotony—doing the same thing over and over again doesn’t feel alive enough for me.”
North American Schedule
Before heading overseas, Charli is playing a full North American tour. Her US shows run through September and October, with venues including Barclays Center in Brooklyn, TD Garden in Boston, and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.
Opening Act
Audrey Hobert will open every show on the European leg. The run gives her six nights of live performance across six cities.

What To Make Of It
Charli XCX has explained why she avoids long tours and then added six new dates anyway. That is a small but delightful contradiction.
She is not doing a marathon. She is doing a tight loop across six cities. Audrey Hobert opens every night.
Charli XCX has proven she can still add dates while explaining why she avoids them.
