Drake has released a five-hour video called FOMO, and he wants you to know it is not a short film. The rapper premiered the project on Tuesday, calling it “a not so short film” and “self funded surrealism.” It includes Drake on a speed boat, Drake working out, Drake in a Brat tee, Sexxy Red, and snippets of new music.
The video is the latest act in a year that has already produced two-and-a-half hours of new music and 18 accompanying music videos. Drake began teasing FOMO in August, and the full version is now live.
The Year So Far
Drake released three albums this year: Iceman, Maid of Honor, and Habibti. Prior to their release in May, they were billed together as one project called Iceman. A massive ice ziggurat was erected in a Toronto parking lot.
Drake became the first artist to hold the No. 1, 2, and 3 spots on the Billboard 200 chart in the same week. He also barked for a goth baddie and bought her mother a house. Heartwarming!
At the premiere of FOMO, Drake confirmed he will be going on tour in 2027.
