Netflix released all 12 episodes of Our Sticky Love on August 7, 2026, and the show wastes no time on its premise. Go Eun-sae is a prosecutor with retrograde amnesia. Jang Tae-ha is a former youth boxing champion turned gang member, now coaching in a small town. He recognizes her as his first love. She remembers nothing. So he tells her he is her boyfriend.

A Prosecutor Loses Her Memory
That lie is the engine of the series, created by Kim Jang-han and Mo Ji-hye, who also wrote the scripts, with Kim directing. Eun-sae was tracking a South Korean crime syndicate led by a powerful boss when an incident erased her past. Tae-ha’s claim is not a con. It is protection, and it moves the two into one house.
Jung Hae-in plays Tae-ha. Ahn Ha-young plays Eun-sae. The show is billed as drama and comedy, and the setup carries both.
Heo Sung-tae as Baek Sang-gil
Heo Sung-tae plays the syndicate boss, the anchor of the show’s conflict. The supporting cast is deep: Kim Yeong-ok, Jeon Bae-soo, Seo Jeong-yeon, Jang Hye-jin, Cha Chung-hwa, Kim Mi-hwa, Choi Yu-ju, Eun Jong-geon and Oh Kyung-hwa.
The series was cast with unusual transparency. In February 2025, OSEN reported Jung Hae-in and Ha Young were reviewing offers for the leads. Their agencies confirmed the scripts had arrived. Both signed. SPOTV News later reported Heo Sung-tae’s casting and a special appearance by Lee Jun-young. In May 2026, Newsen reported Lee Jae-won had joined.
What the Lie Costs
Here is where the show earns its 8.7. The amnesia is a device, but the lie is a character test, and the series keeps the stakes concrete:
- Eun-sae cannot verify anything Tae-ha tells her.
- Tae-ha cannot confess without exposing her to the syndicate.
- The longer the couple holds the story, the harder the truth lands.
That is a clean triangle, and it does not need a twist to work.
The weakness is the middle stretch. Twelve episodes is a lot of room for a premise this narrow, and the comedy and the syndicate plot pull against each other. The show is strongest when it stays in the house.
What matters most is the pairing. Jung Hae-in has to sell a man who is lying and sincere at once, and Ahn Ha-young has to play a woman rebuilding herself from nothing. The published audience score of 8.7 from 92 votes is a small sample, but it points the right way. Our Sticky Love is not a great crime drama. It is a good romance that knows exactly what its lie is worth.
