Prime Video’s Off Campus Arrived With Its Future Already Settled

Prime Video's Off Campus scored 7.1 and was renewed for season 2 before its May 13 2026 premiere, starring Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli

Prime Video’s Off Campus arrived with its future already settled. Amazon renewed the show for a second season in February 2026, ahead of the first episode’s May 13 premiere. That is a vote of confidence no review can match, and it frames everything that follows: this is a series the network bet on before audiences had seen a frame.

Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham

The first season runs eight episodes, with the first and last both airing May 13, 2026. It centers on Hannah Wells (Ella Bright), who tutors hockey captain Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) to get closer to her crush. The arrangement turns into something real as both characters face their pasts. It is a familiar shape — the fake relationship that stops being fake — and creator Louisa Levy does not pretend otherwise.

What lifts it is the surrounding cast. Mika Abdalla plays Allie Hayes, Stephen Kalyn is Dean Di Laurentis, Jalen Thomas Brooks is John Tucker, and Antonio Cipriano is John Logan. The show follows all of them through college life and love at the fictional Briar University, where four close-knit hockey players work through adulthood, relationships and sex. The ensemble carries the load when the central romance leans on beats you have seen before.

A Cast Built to Last

The casting is unusually deep for a first season. Steve Howey and Khobe Clarke joined in recurring roles in July 2025. On November 6, 2025, the show added AJ Abell, Francesca Bianchi, Kai Bradbury, Karis Cameron, Josh Chambers, Riley Davis, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Chelah Horsdal, Quinten James, Dylan Kingwell, Riley Orr, Lauren Patten, Frankie Randysek, Brandon Scott, Jennifer Spence, Julia Sarah Stone, Marlee Walchuk and Chad Willett. India Fowler came aboard as a series regular in April 2026, with Phillipa Soo in a recurring role for season two. Shay Rudolph joined in August 2026.

That is a lot of names, and it signals where the series is heading. The renewal was not a gamble on one couple.

The source material is Elle Kennedy’s Off-Campus book series. The show treats the hockey players as adults rather than mascots. The romance between Hannah and Garrett works because Bright and Cameli play the negotiation, not just the payoff.

What the Score Says

Off Campus earns its 7.1. The premise is well-worn, the eight-episode season moves quickly, and the supporting cast is given plenty to do. But the show is confident about what it is.

The real test is season two, when the story has to expand beyond Hannah and Garrett. For now, this is a solid, watchable start.
