The Latin Recording Academy has announced its nominees for the 2026 Latin Grammys, and the biggest names in Spanish-language music are fighting for the top prizes. Edgar Barrera leads the pack with 10 nominations, while Rosalía, Karol G, Jorge Drexler, and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso each hold seven or more.
The ceremony takes place on Thursday, November 12, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, with Univision airing it live. More broadcasting partners are still to be announced.
Barrera’s Ten Nods
Barrera is nominated for collaborations with Karol G, Carín Leon, and more. His total of 10 nominations puts him at the front of the field.
Rosalía Goes Big
Rosalía’s album Lux is up for Album of the Year. The record’s title track “La Perla,” featuring Yahritza y Su Esencia and Su Esencia, is also in contention for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
She’ll face off in all three categories against Karol G, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, and Silvana Estrada. Becky G and Santana are also in the Song of the Year race for their collaboration “Mi Gran Amor.”
Karol G’s Seven Nominations
Karol G holds seven nominations in total. Her album Tropicoqueta is competing in the Album of the Year category alongside Anitta’s Equilibrivm, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso’s Free Spirits, Jorge Drexler’s Taracá, Mon Laferte’s Femme Fatale, Carín León’s Muda, Milo J’s La Vida Era Más Corta, Rawayana’s ¿Dónde Es El After?, and Rosalía’s Lux.
Urban Tracks and Albums
The urban categories are crowded. J Balvin and Ryan Castro’s Omerta is up for Best Urban Music Album, alongside records from Young Miko and Bad Gyal.
In Best Reggaeton Performance, Rauw Alejandro, Wisin, and Ñengo Flow are in the running with “Contrabando.” Bad Gyal ft. Chencho Corleone’s “Choque,” Karol G ft. Feid’s “Verano Rosa,” Ozuna’s “Una Aventura,” and Sofía Reyes and Luísa Sonza’s “Uñas Afiladas” round out the field.
Bizarrap and Daddy Yankee picked up a Best Urban Performance nomination for “Daddy Yankee: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 0/66.” Ryan Castro, Kapo, and Gangsta’s “La Villa,” Feid’s “Se Lo Juro Mor,” Karol G ft. Eddy Lover’s “Dile Luna,” and Milo J ft. Trueno’s “Gil” complete that category.
The Rest of the Ballot
The Record of the Year field includes Jorge Drexler’s “¿Como Se Ama?” and Loulou Gilberto’s “O Amor Nos Encontrou,” alongside entries from Mon Laferte, Carín León, Milo J, and Elena Rose.
Silvana Estrada’s “Dime” and Karol G, Marco Antonio Solís’s “Coleccionando Heridas” are also in the mix.
