Samsung is offering a discount on its Galaxy Watch Ultra2 through a trade-in promotion that reduces the price by up to $250. The $699.99 timepiece is currently priced at $449.99 after trade-in with an acceptable device, and customers who add certain Galaxy Buds save an additional 10%. That’s the deal.
Samsung’s trade-in program is what backs the deal, working out the credit from the device being replaced. Those who leave the trade-in out receive a set $100 credit instead.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 on Sale
The Ultra2 arrived in stores in August after debuting at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in London on July 22. It is the company’s most rugged wearable yet, with a titanium case and a 1.52-inch Super AMOLED sapphire-crystal display that reaches a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
The battery is the biggest change. A new 800mAh cell is 35% larger than the previous-generation Ultra, with Samsung advertising up to 60 hours of use on a charge. Despite the bigger battery, the watch is 12% thinner at 10.7mm.
The Snapdragon Wear Elite platform powers the device inside, backed by 2GB of memory and 64GB of storage. It arrives in two colors: Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray.
What the Watch Tracks
The bulk of the changes point to outdoor exercise. A new Trail Run setting follows elevation, climbing gains and ground details while supplying pace guidance. Samsung’s Nutrition Alert gauges sweat loss and recommends how much liquid a user should consume during extended training sessions.
Route tracking gets a boost from dual-frequency GPS, while the watch handles underwater workouts with 10ATM and IP69K ratings, meeting the EN13319 standard applied to diving gear.
Samsung worked with diving brand Mares to add extra features such as ascent and descent speeds and decompression information, while the device also automatically tracks depth, dive time and water temperature.
Health Tools and Voice Assist
The Ultra2 draws on AI-driven health readings to deliver its data. The BioActive Sensor manages heart-rate, electrical-heart-signal and body-composition measurements, along with features such as Vitals, Daily Cardio Load, Fitness Index and Heart Health Score.
The sleep tracking category has grown, with an FDA-cleared Sleep Apnea feature now available for certain users and devices. The watch runs on Wear OS 7, paired with One UI 9 Watch, while also supporting Google Gemini straight from the wrist.
Samsung has placed the device in the hands of endurance and outdoor athletes. Wingsuit pilot Sebastián “Ardilla” Álvarez wore the Ultra2 during a high-altitude flight over Chile’s Valle Nevado. Trail runners Joe Farrelly and Jordan Rowe are part of a branded partnership with RunThrough.
That fits into Samsung’s broader Team Galaxy strategy. The company’s campaigns this year have included singer and rapper Audrey Nuna, model and creator Haley Baylee and elite athletes across multiple sports. Other recent Galaxy pushes have featured BTS and “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” star Jacob Batalon.
How to Save
The main offer is the $250 trade-in credit. People who bring an eligible device receive the $449.99 price. Those who purchase without trading in a device get the $100 credit instead.
Samsung’s newest high-end wearable and headphones can be purchased together at a reduced rate, thanks to a promotion that pairs them with select Galaxy Buds for added savings. This deal stands among the better offers so far for acquiring both items as a set.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 comes at a price of $699.99, offered in two colors: Titanium Silver and Titanium Gray. Both the trade-in and bundle deals are attached to purchases that qualify under the offer’s terms.
