The Spike Feeders: cEDDH List That Lets You Win Right Away

Gamegenic's Spike Feeders decks pack every card type into Commander. Four commanders, one absurd catalogue.

A chaotic spread of fantasy trading cards representing artifacts, creatures, and spells.

Gamegenic has released a new set of Spike Feeders decks for Commander, and the numbers are staggering. The Spike Feeders: cEDH With Absolutely No Waiting is a collection of four full decks, each built around a different commander and packed with every card type Magic: the Gathering has to offer. The result is a catalogue of absurdity, not a strategy guide.

Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy Leads the Pack

The Spike Feeders set starts with Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy, a blue-white commander who cares about artifacts and creatures entering the battlefield. His deck runs 16 artifacts, 28 creatures, and 20 instants, making it the most aggressive of the bunch.

The deck also includes a planeswalker, five enchantments, and five sorceries. Lands round out the 24 cards needed to play. It is a dense mix, but the focus on entering-the-battlefield triggers suggests a game about constant pressure rather than a slow grind.

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds Goes Big

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds takes a different approach. Her green-white deck adds a battle card to the mix, alongside 34 creatures, nine artifacts, and 16 instants. The deck also features eight sorceries, four enchantments, and 27 lands.

The inclusion of a battle card is a notable addition. The sheer number of creatures suggests a deck built to flood the board, while the artifact count keeps the engine running. This combination gives the deck a distinctly different feel from Kinnan’s build, which focuses more on triggers tied to entering the battlefield.

Godo, Bandit Warlord Goes All-In

Godo, Bandit Warlord brings the artifact count to a peak. His red-black deck runs 25 artifacts, 16 creatures, and 18 instants. That is a massive artifact density, and the deck also includes 11 sorceries, four enchantments, and 28 lands.

The inclusion of a planeswalker adds a layer of interaction. Godo’s deck is built to deploy threats rapidly, with the creatures and spells backing up that engine. Among the four commanders, Godo’s build has the highest artifact count by a wide margin.

Bebop & Rocksteady Doubles Down

The final deck runs two commanders: Bebop & Rocksteady. Their blue-black deck runs 25 creatures, 14 artifacts, and 15 instants. The deck also includes 13 sorceries, four enchantments, and 26 lands.

The double-commander setup is unusual for Commander, where most decks stick to a single leader. The artifact count is lower than Godo’s, but the overall card count is still substantial. This is the only deck among the four that uses two commanders instead of one.

A Catalogue of Every Card Type

What stands out across all four decks is the sheer variety of card types included. The list reads like a checklist of everything Magic has to offer:

  • Creatures
  • Artifacts
  • Enchantments
  • Sorceries
  • Instants
  • Battle cards
  • Planeswalkers

Each deck touches nearly all of these categories, with only a few missing the full set. The result is a collection that is exhaustive in its coverage of card types, even if the individual strategies are less clear.

The Spike Feeders Philosophy

The Spike Feeders decks are built for density rather than restraint. Each commander has a distinct identity, but the decks themselves prioritize quantity over quality.

The artifact-heavy builds in particular suggest decks that deploy threats rapidly. Whether that translates to actual winning is another matter.

Our View of the Collection

The Spike Feeders decks are a spectacle, not a masterclass. They are a showcase of every card type, assembled in a way that prioritizes quantity over quality. The sheer volume of artifacts, creatures, and instants in each deck is impressive, but it is also exhausting to read.

There is a certain charm in a collection this ambitious, even if the individual decks look more like experiments than tournament-ready builds. For players who want to see what a deck can look like when every card type is represented, this is a fascinating example.

For everyone else, the takeaway is simple: Commander has room for almost anything.

The Spike Feeders: cEDH With Absolutely No Waiting is available now from Gamegenic. All four decks are fully built, ready to play, and packed with enough cards to satisfy anyone who loves the sheer scale of Magic: the Gathering.

The collection does not pretend to be a winning strategy. It pretends to be everything.
