Adult performers are running a $100,000 advertising push called Hot2Vote, urging Georgia voters to check their status after a large voter roll purge.
The campaign was built by more than 100 adult creators. It follows a purge of over 470,000 names from Georgia’s voter rolls last year. The goal is simple: get people to confirm they are still registered before the November elections.
The effort blends safe-for-work videos, poster campaigns, geofenced ads and QR codes. Performers will hand out posters and QR codes linking to Hot2Vote’s website at Atlanta clubs so people can check their registration in real time.
The Purge Behind Hot2Vote
Georgia removed over 470,000 names from its voter rolls last year. That is a large number, and it is why adult performers see this as their issue.
The campaign aims to reach people who do not pay attention to traditional political ads. The target audience is mostly men in the metropolitan Atlanta area.
The Hot2Vote campaign runs through Oct. 4, a day before Georgia’s voter registration deadline.
The People Behind the Push
Hazel Grace, an Atlanta-based performer and owner of production company InMelanin, spoke about the campaign in a press release shared with Mashable.
“Over the next few weeks, my team and I will be out hitting the clubs around Atlanta and connecting with our community to make sure everyone checks their voter registration status,” Grace said.
Grace’s team will hit Atlanta clubs directly, handing out materials and encouraging patrons to check their registration on the spot.
What the Campaign Includes
The Hot2Vote push covers multiple channels. The components break down like this:
- Safe-for-work videos by entertainers like Cherie DeVille and King Noire
- Pinup-style PSA posters for Atlanta’s nightclub districts
- Digital ads geofenced to Atlanta nightclubs
- Digital and pre-roll ads on adult sites matched to Atlanta voters
- Posters and QR codes distributed on the ground in Atlanta
The geofenced ads target people near Atlanta clubs. The pre-roll ads appear on adult sites where Atlanta voters watch content. The QR codes let people check their status directly from a poster.
Reaching the Right Audience
The ads are designed to reach people who skip traditional political ads. That is the whole point.
The campaign estimates it will reach between 400,000 and 450,000 people in the metro Atlanta area, mostly men. That is a large potential audience for a niche campaign.
A Familiar Pattern
Hot2Vote echoes the 2024 Hands Off My Porn campaign. That campaign raised awareness about Project 2025, the conservative blueprint for Donald Trump’s second presidential campaign.
The pattern holds. Adult performers have used their platform to raise political awareness before.
Other Sex Worker Advocacy
This is not the only recent advocacy from adult performers. In the UK, the web series Headline Newds spreads the word about climate change with popular porn performers.
The comparison shows a broader trend. Adult performers are using their visibility to talk about issues beyond their industry.
The Deadline Factor
Oct. 4 is the day before Georgia’s voter registration deadline. That timing matters. Anyone who wants to vote in November must act soon.
The campaign’s end date is set. After Oct. 4, the ads stop. The performers stop handing out posters. The moment passes.
The campaign ends Oct. 4. After that, the question will be whether anyone actually registered.
