Each of the Limited Edition Cerberus and Prometheus models is restricted to just 500 units and set to ship in October 2026. Neither vessel ever showed up in the original 1978 series. Solaria stands out as a particularly promising candidate among the remaining releases. The company has placed it alongside Cerberus and Prometheus in its own product descriptions, which strongly suggests its absence from the lineup.
Triton is clearly the other obvious candidate for a model. The original series mentioned eight Battlestars by name: Galactica, Atlantia, Acropolis, Columbia, Pacifica, Pegasus, Rycon, and Triton. Master Replicas has said it plans to release models of all eight, and Atlantia has already been given a 350-piece Limited Edition release.
The original-series lineup is missing Triton entirely, which makes it the most obvious absence.
Beyond the Original Continuity
Beyond the original Battlestar Galactica timeline, there is room for Master Replicas to pursue bolder options. One notable candidate would be the Valkyrie, a major 2004-series pick since William Adama led that vessel before becoming commander of Galactica.
For now, Triton and Solaria both match the company’s current classic-fleet plan, and either might end up among the Battlestars carrying the collection into 2027.
The Franchise’s Long Road Back
The official 2027 return gives fans something definite to look forward to, even as the franchise’s larger on-screen future remains uncertain.
