The K-pop superstars BTS are back on the field. They’re returning to the air with new episodes of their cherished variety series Run BTS!, and a new teaser has given fans their first look at what the group has in mind for games, challenges and friendly competition.
A Toronto-shot teaser features the seven members having a BTS-style picnic where they return to games they used to play during picnics. The setup starts off warm and nostalgic until it turns competitive, with the group taking part in a quick game of “speed walk”, followed by “red light, green light.”.
Before falling down during the picnic, Jung Kook says “Why are you so fast?” as he runs around, with the other members laughing at him all the while.
The Toronto Picnic
The gathering starts with the group seated around food and stories from the past, talking about the games they used to play on picnic days. That sets up the tone for a day full of fond memories. The games start soon after.
The members race across the grass in the “speed walk” challenge, and Jung Kook runs so quickly that the others can’t help but wonder aloud. His pace eventually overwhelms him, though, and he falls down mid-run, prompting laughter from the rest of the group. The scene shows how well they get along together.
The Pickleball Tournament
The featured match is the pickleball tournament. It opens with the players rallying, cheering and responding to shots crossing the court. The penalty for losing is the hook here, which raises the pressure beyond what the sport itself brings.
Members cheer and shout encouragement to one another during the chaotic match. The teaser concludes with the tournament fading to black as the Run BTS 2.0 title card appears, suggesting a new chapter for the series.

On Oct. 6, the first episode of the new Run BTS! era will begin at 8 p.m. KST, followed by a second episode at 8 p.m. KST on Oct. 11.

BTS is bringing back Run BTS! during a period of constant movement. The group has just finished the North American part of their ARIRANG World Tour, and they will move on to the South American part next. Their most recent album, ARIRANG, earned them their seventh No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, reaching that spot when it came out in April. It has stayed on the chart for 27 weeks so far, with no sign of slowing down.
A Glimpse at the New Chapter
This preview gives viewers a look at BTS outside of their stage work, showing the group as friends rather than entertainers. That willingness to be open is the reason the series continues to draw attention. The activities are light-hearted, the responses are sincere, and the mirth is genuine.
