BTS Superstar V has signed on as the global brand ambassador for Nothing, and he is doing it by wearing the company’s new Headphone (1) Pro. The campaign, shot in Seoul by Dorothea Sing Zhang, is meant to celebrate the “experimentation and versatility of authentic expression,” according to Nothing, while showing off the technical excellence of both partners.

Nothing describes the Headphone (1) Pro as its “most advanced audio product to date.” Inside the earbuds is a triple-driver setup: a 40-mm bass dynamic driver, a precision dynamic driver, and a treble xMEMS driver. That combination covers a frequency response range of 20Hz-40kHz. The headphones were tuned with engineers at Metropolis Studios, who added a flat equalizer switch for a neutral sound profile that producers and creators can use.

What the Headphone (1) Pro Actually Does

The new model is built from aluminium paired with titanium for a premium finish that cuts weight. It uses a 10-mic system for real-time adaptive active noise cancellation, which Nothing says filters surroundings more accurately, especially in audio-challenged settings like windy weather and traffic. The headphones also hold up to 68 hours of battery life.

V’s statement on the partnership is brief but warm. “I’m excited to be part of this bold new chapter with Nothing,” he said. “Headphone (1) Pro is a design grounded in creative expression and I look forward to our journey together.”

Carl Pei, Nothing’s co-founder and CEO, framed the pairing as a natural fit. “V has an instinct for fearless experimentation,” Pei said. “He’s always pushing into different sounds and styles; he follows his creative instincts, not tried-and-tested formulas, and that’s exactly what we wanted to capture with Headphone (1) Pro. We’ve built it to give people more freedom and flexibility in everyday listening. V was the perfect choice as we define technical excellence for the next generation of creatives.”

Charli xcx’s Predecessor

V is not the first musician Nothing has brought aboard. Charli xcx joined as a global brand ambassador and investor earlier this year, and she helped launch the Headphone (a). The Hollywood Reporter previously reported that the $199 headphones sold out across the U.K. and Western Europe within 48 hours after her campaign launched, directed by her frequent collaborator Aidan Zamiri.

That performance sets a high bar for V’s debut. He now stands alongside Charli xcx, who helped push the Headphone (a) to success.

The Debut Date and Where to Buy

Headphone (1) Pro goes on sale Sept. 29, 2026. It will be available at nothing.tech, Amazon, and nationwide at Best Buy’s North America locations.

The price is $399.

The Sell-Out Question

Charli xcx’s Headphone (a) sold out in 48 hours across the U.K. and Western Europe, and V now carries the torch for the brand’s next launch. The headphones hit shelves on Sept. 29, and the market will answer soon enough.
