16 AllStars, 16 Hero Vehicles
You pick one of 16 AllStars, each with a hero vehicle that bends the fight. Hana’s car carries a retractable blade that can slice an opponent’s vehicle in half. Genesis’ car runs rocket boosters for a speed boost and heavier damage. Shyft turns invisible and drops off opponents’ radar. Lupita leaves a trail of fire behind her.
On Foot in the Arena
Leave a wrecked car and you are on foot, agile and exposed. Opponents’ vehicles can kill you, though you can jump or roll clear. You can also jump onto a rival’s car and take it over or destroy it outright. While on foot you collect shards, set retractable traps, or hunt down another vehicle. The transition in and out of cars is fluid, and that fluidity is the best thing here.
The Mode That Is Not There
Here is the problem. Destruction AllStars is a multiplayer game, and its online servers shut down on May 26, 2026. The game was delisted from the PlayStation Store the same day, along with the ability to buy its virtual currency.
Owners can still reach the single-player modes and spend remaining virtual currency there until November 25, 2026. All server support ends then.

What the Arenas Got Right
The combat has timing and tactics in it. Leaving a car at the right moment, grabbing a fresh one, spending a hero ability to break up a pile-on — those choices matter, and the 16 characters give the roster real spread. The parkour on foot is quick and readable.
What the Crowd Never Got
A game show needs a crowd. Destruction AllStars drew mixed reviews, and the modes that survive the server shutdown are only part of what shipped.
