The tales are piling up, and a few of them sound nearly unbelievable.
Muse’s pitch is simple: it hooks into the apps and accounts you pick, then performs actions on your behalf. Mark Zuckerberg introduced the assistant on Instagram using the line, “Meet Muse, the personal agent that helps you get things done.”
The Flight Credit That Arrived
Ejaaz Ahamadeen, an investor and creator, requested that Muse file for compensation following a seven-hour flight delay. Within five minutes, he said he had received a $250 credit in his Delta account.
In Ahamadeen’s screenshots, Muse is shown looking into other ways to get to Maui, putting his favored airlines first, and collecting the particulars needed to lodge a complaint. He wrote that Muse “feels like magic,” and the images document him working through those steps.
Hold Music Is Finally Over
Matt Van Horn asked Muse to call Southwest, stay on hold, and then call him back when a representative became available. The plan succeeded. “There was real human waiting for me,” he wrote. “Grail I’ve been dying for unlocked.”
Van Horn said he was using Meta’s built-in calling feature and found the callback setup straightforward, “I gave it my number lol.”; however, the calling feature itself remains in beta, meaning not everyone has access to it yet.
A Bar With A Matching Vibe
Millie Yang, who started the project, wanted a stylish cocktail bar in New York City that felt much like Osamil Upstairs. She turned to Muse and told it to look through Instagram for spots that would suit a party of five.
Two choices faced Muse: Barbam, an intimate Korean speakeasy known for its jazz and elaborate cocktails, and Seoul Salon, a livelier, neon-lit Korean cocktail lounge. The platform displayed videos of a basement tour, a walkthrough, and close-ups of the cocktails themselves.
