The Denver Broncos travel to Levi’s Stadium to face the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 4:25 p.m. ET, and the game can be streamed for free online. Here is how to watch Broncos vs. 49ers in the NFL online for free.
The Free Stream Is in Australia
Only Australian viewers can see the broadcast directly because it streams on 7Plus, a service restricted by location. Viewers from other countries must find an alternate method to watch. A suggested solution is a VPN, which conceals a user’s true IP address and links them through a server based in Australia.
The 49ers are undefeated and in-form, led by quarterback Brock Purdy, who has had a nearly perfect start to the season. Pundits are already predicting he will be this year’s MVP. The 49ers’ quest for six championships is a familiar goal, but this season’s version carries extra weight.
The Date and Time
Denver Broncos vs. San Francisco 49ers starts at 4:25 p.m. ET on Oct. 4. This fixture takes place at Levi’s Stadium.
What the VPN Actually Does
Users can sign up for a service, install its software, link to a server located in Australia, and then access 7Plus to view the game. The process involves concealing one’s true location and making it appear as though the device is situated within Australia, which permits access to the broadcast.
What makes these services appealing is their upfront offer: viewers can test them out without spending any money at all. The generous money-back guarantees mean that subscribers can sample the streaming of this fixture — along with NFL action — without risking a penny. It is not a viable approach for sustained use, but it does buy enough time to enjoy both sports before the cost has to be recovered.
Why ExpressVPN Is the Pick
Stream the NFL without restrictions with ExpressVPN, which operates servers in 105 countries, including Australia, and provides a simple app across every major device: iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, and more.
User information is kept safe by the service’s no-logging policy, which prevents any tracking of data. The connections move quickly without any slowing down, and there is no limit on how much data can be sent at once. Users can make up to 10 separate connections at the same time, and they get a 30-day money-back guarantee if they change their mind.
A two-year subscription to ExpressVPN costs $68.40 and includes an extra four months for free — 81% off for a limited time. That plan also includes a year of free unlimited cloud backup. A one-month plan is available for just $12.99.
Comparing the Other Services
| Service | Best For | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 7Plus | Free live NFL streams | Geo-restricted to Australia |
| ExpressVPN | Bypassing geo-restrictions | $68.40 for two years |
| HBO Max | Premium content | Subscription required |
| Disney+ | Families | Subscription required |
| Hulu | Originals | Subscription required |
| Peacock | Low-cost live sport | Subscription required |
Every single service on the table demands a subscription except one. Only 7Plus makes the game available without charge, and only a VPN opens it up for viewers outside the country.

The Broncos enter this matchup with a two-game winning streak. The 49ers are undefeated and in-form, led by Brock Purdy, who has had a nearly perfect start to the season. Pundits are already predicting he will be this year’s MVP.
The version with the 49ers’ quest for six championships is a familiar goal, but this season’s has added importance. It will show if the Broncos can take down the 49ers, who have not lost a single game so far and are playing at the top of their form.
