The company has confirmed a new Yu-Gi-Oh! pack for February 27th, 2027, and it delivers a heavy dose of content for fans of the franchise’s history. The Special Pack “RARITY COLLECTION -CLIMAX SCENE EDITION-” takes its cards from the endgame of the original manga and the later anime series, and Konami has laid out the entire rarity structure for players to see.
The entire pack features cards at Super Rare or above, with no lower rarity included. Among those, there are 6 brand new cards and 10 reprinted cards, all of which arrive in Over Frame Card form. What’s more, six of those new cards appear again as GRAND MASTER RARE with Serial Numbers. That final point bears repeating: six new cards across the whole run carry a serial number.
The Rare Mix
A great many cards make up this pack, with 80 distinct ones altogether, divided into 20 Ultra Rares and 60 Super Rares. Every card starts at Secret Rare, yet the true worth rests above that plain foundation.
64 of the cards come in Prismatic Secret Rare. The Over Frame Cards are also worth noting. 16 of the Prismatic Over Frame Cards come in Over Frame Card design. That means the foil finish and the design are both present on the same card.
Grand Master Rares
The six Ultra Rare Cards that carry Grand Master Rare status also arrive with Serial Numbers attached to them. That trio of features — the serial number, the Grand Master Rare designation, and a brand new illustration — forms a strong draw for anyone hunting the top ranks of collectible cards.
The pack also includes a range of Super Rare upgrades. 18 of the Super Rare Cards come in Ultra Rare with brand new illustrations. 20 of the Super Rare Cards come in Ultimate Rare, and another 20 come in Collector’s Rare.
Box Numbers
A single Pack of 4 Cards costs 396 Yen, and there are 15 Packs inside each Box. Doing the numbers, that means a Box holds 60 cards altogether.
The complete set of 80 distinct cards, spanning every rare tier mentioned above, comes packed inside a single box containing 15 packs.
Card Distribution
This pack’s rare cards carry its value, with the 20 Ultra Rares and 60 Super Rares serving as the foundation. It is the upgrades that push the pack above the rest, making them the ones worth pursuing.
Six new cards make up the smallest run of Grand Masters ever released, and each carries its own distinct design tied to a climactic scene from the manga’s endgame, as the pack’s name suggests. At the top of the pyramid sit the 6 Grand Master Rares.
The 18 Super Rare cards upgraded to Ultra Rare are also a strong pull. The 20 Ultimate Rares and 20 Collector’s Rares round out the Super Rare tier, giving collectors three distinct ways to chase the higher print.
Out of the 80 cards in a pack, the Prismatic Secret Rares show up as the most frequent foil finish, landing on 64 of them.
The Reprints
The 10 reprinted cards are a mixed bag. Reprints are standard in the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, and the fact that they also come in Over Frame Card designs means the pack includes a mix of new content and familiar designs.
The six brand new cards are what stands out here, particularly those six that arrive as Grand Master Rare with serial numbers attached to them. The pairing of a fresh design, a serial number, and Grand Master Rare status makes for an uncommon combination across any set, and having six cards share it creates a powerful lure for collectors.
Release Date
Konami has put out complete details on the cards and their rarity levels, and the pack is set to come out on February 27th, 2027.
