A secret video has surfaced, and it shows people floating in the air, lit by red light spilling from Manhattan skyscrapers. The video, leaked by an anonymous source at the FBC, the Federal Bureau of Control, is being called the latest in a string of unexplained supernatural incidents that have shaken the city.
The footage was shot on a mobile phone on Thomas Street. It shows figures levitating, surrounded by red light emanating from windows across the skyline. The FBC’s main charter is to investigate so-called “paranatural phenomena,” though the public only learned of its existence when the agency released a public information campaign about staying safe from such forces.
Red Light and Levitation
The video’s authenticity is supported by witness statements from people who say they saw the phenomenon firsthand. Michael Bamber, 33, a clerical worker with the NYC Port Authority, described the moment in stark, physical terms.
“I was walking to the subway when red started appearing everywhere,” he said. “But I didn’t just see red, I could hear it, smell it even. It was crazy.”
Cherry Connor, 27, a deputy administrator for City Hall, offered a more disturbing account. She said she watched people float into the air and make strange sounds, like chanting, before a woman near her rolled her eyes back and took off. Connor said she started running as others screamed.
The 911 Spike
Sources close to the 911 switchboard reported a massive spike in emergency calls during the phenomenon’s appearance. Local hospitals were flooded with people suffering from hysteria and injuries caused by the sudden stampede of onlookers from the area.
The video has been sent to IGN, which is reporting the footage alongside the witness statements. The subject line of the accompanying email reads: “Ignore the FBC. We are doomed.”
The Hiss
Sources with former ties to the FBC claim these incidents are caused by the Hiss, a hostile paranatural entity that corrupts human minds. They say it represents a significant threat to the entire population of NYC.
The FBC, however, is not backing down. When asked for comment, the agency completely denied the appearance of the Hiss and blamed the apparent sighting on a mass hallucination.
An FBC press officer said: “Hallucinations are very common and we believe that the recent bout of mass hysteria that New Yorkers have experienced has caused a mass hallucination. The Hiss are not in fact in Manhattan. Remember – no matter what you see, just trust the FBC. Thank you.”
Bamber’s Response
Mr Bamber was not impressed. He called the FBC’s response exactly what it was.
“The FBC are talking out of their fking ass,” he said. “Mass hallucination?! Bullshit! I saw the whole thing. People need to wake up. This is fking serious.”
“People need to wake up. This is f**king serious.”
