Hasbro has put football players on the Guess Who? board, and the result is a lot of faces to sort through. The NFL-edition of the game features 48 athletes from all 32 teams, including Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts. It is an officially-licensed release from the NFL and Hasbro.
Players work to identify the football stars on their opponent’s board, racing to close all their tabs once they guess correctly. The game uses the same “yes” or “no” question format as the original, with a hint to start by asking about the player’s team conference or division, then jersey color or position. Each square shows a photo of the football player in their team jersey, along with their position.
The game folds out for play and snaps together into a single case for storage. It is suitable for kids ages six and up, though the company admits it is great for all ages. The NFL season began on Sept. 9, 2026, with the Seattle Seahawks as the reigning Super Bowl champions after defeating the New England Patriots in last year’s championship game.
The Football Faces
The NFL-edition of Guess Who? puts every player from all 32 teams on the board. That is a lot of faces to sort through, and the game splits them between two boards, one for the AFC and one for the NFC.
Each square shows a photo of the football player in their team jersey, along with their position. Players can only ask “yes” or “no” questions to narrow down the mystery NFL star’s identity. The hint suggests starting with team conference or division, then jersey color or position.
Kelce is perhaps the most famous face in the pack, though he is the recently-married version of the player. There are 48 athletes in total to guess from, and they are randomly divided between the two boards.
The Bop It! Twist
Hasbro also released a Bop It! game featuring NFL stars. The original Bop It! involved a wheel-style contraption that players raced to twist, push, pull and spin. The NFL version challenges players to “bop” the football star’s chest, twist his arm with the ball, or pull on his foot, all in random sequences.
The commands are shouted out by a sports announcer-style voice through the device’s built-in speakers. The game requires two AAA batteries (not included).
When not in use, the figurines stand about seven inches tall and make for a great desktop collectible or shelf display piece. The company says it has kept one in the office for when it needs a little break from work or needs to re-focus.
What We Like About Both Games
The Guess Who? edition folds out for play and snaps together into a single case for storage. The Bop It! edition lets players bop, twist and pull on NFL figurines, with commands shouted out by a sports announcer-style voice.
Both games are fun activities for the whole family, and both are great gift ideas for sports fans. The Guess Who? edition is a fun family game night activity too.

Our View
The NFL-edition of Guess Who? is a delightfully niche product. Sorting through 48 players across two boards is a lot of work, and the “yes” or “no” format means each question narrows the field one at a time.
The Bop It! edition is even stranger. Twisting an arm or pulling on a foot sounds like a mess, and the sports announcer-style voice adds a layer of absurdity. But it is a coordination and reaction game, and the company says it has found a use for it in the office.
Both games are gifts for sports fans, and both are fun family activities. The Guess Who? edition is a great gift idea for kids ages six and up, while the Bop It! edition is a great gift idea for anyone who wants to bop a figurine.
The NFL season has started, and these games are ready for it.
