Amazon is already cutting prices on its entire Kindle line, including the latest Kindle Paperwhite Kids model at its lowest price ever. The sale officially begins Tuesday, October 6th, but the deals are live now.
The biggest move is the Kindle Paperwhite Kids, which drops to $169.99 — its lowest price ever. That model comes with a 7-inch display, 16 GB of storage, and a 12-week battery life. The real value is the bundle: six months of Amazon Kids+, normally $7.99 per month, plus a two-year replacement guarantee.
The Paperwhite Kids Deal
The deal also applies to the Kindle Colorsoft Kids, which drops to $209.99 — a 30% discount. It gets a bright 7-inch color display, up to eight weeks of battery life, 12 months of Amazon Kids+, and a rugged cover. Both models share the same two-year warranty.
The entry-level Kindle Kids is also on sale at $122.99, a 32% discount. It has a 6-inch glare-free display, the same six-month Amazon Kids+ subscription, and a two-year worry-free guarantee.
Adult Bundle Deals
Amazon is also pushing bundle deals on adult models. The Kindle Paperwhite Bundle costs $173.97, a 34% discount. It has a 7-inch waterproof display, 16 GB of storage, a 12-week battery life, and comes with a plant-based leather cover and a 9W power adapter.
The Kindle Colorsoft Essentials Bundle runs $201.97, a 42% discount. It has a crisp 7-inch display, 16 GB of storage, an eight-week battery life, and a fabric cover with a 9W charger. The Kindle Scribe Essentials Bundle is $444.97, a 27% discount. It has an 11-inch display, a plant-based leather folio cover, a pen, and a 20W adapter — built for note-taking.
The base Kindle, with a smaller 6-inch display, is the most affordable entry into Amazon’s ereader line. It is now $125.97, a 38% discount, bundled with a fabric cover and a 9W charger.
Free Trials and Subscription Offers
To get the most out of October Prime Day, Amazon recommends signing up for a free Amazon Prime 30-day trial. That gets you fast, free shipping, exclusive deals, and Prime Video shows and movies.
