Amazon has cut the price of a Disney Lorcana starter set for Prime Day, and the deal pairs two of the franchise’s biggest characters against each other. The 2-Player Starter Deck pack is now reduced, and it includes two complete decks — one helmed by Buzz Lightyear and the other by Mrs Incredible. The discount marks a 33% reduction, and the set also comes with a rulebook, damage tokens, a box for storing the cards, and a selection of other Disney characters.
The Two Decks
The starter set is ideal for learning to play or teaching someone else, according to Amazon. One deck is led by everyone’s favorite space ranger, Buzz Lightyear, while the other belongs to Mrs Incredible, the matriarch of The Incredibles. Both decks are balanced to play against each other, but each offers a distinct playstyle so the experience feels different from match to match.
The Supporting Cast
The characters on the front of the decks are just the beginning. Inside the box, you’ll also find the Queen from Snow White, Buzz’s comrade Woody, Jessie the Cowgirl, and Jack-Jack Parr. That’s a mix of franchises that spans space, fantasy, and family adventure.
What’s In the Box
The set is not just two decks. It also includes the game’s rulebook, damage tokens, and a box to keep the cards safe. That means you get everything you need to start playing, and splitting it with a friend brings the cost down to $10 each.
The Low Stock Warning
It’s worth noting that stock is low. Amazon says you may need to move quicker than Dash Parr to secure this one. The warning is a fitting reminder for anyone who wants to grab the set before it sells out.
The Value of the Deal
The price is down 33% from the list price of $29.99. At the reduced price of $19.99, the set is a good entry point for new players. The inclusion of two full decks, a rulebook, and everything else means you’re not buying a single deck and hoping the other pieces arrive later. It’s a complete experience.
Why This Starter Set Stands Out
- It pairs two of Disney’s most recognizable characters against each other.
- The decks are balanced but offer different playstyles.
- It comes with a rulebook and storage box.
- The price is down 33% from the list price of $29.99.
The Bottom Line
This is a solid deal for anyone who has been curious about Lorcana but wasn’t sure where to start. The set brings together a range of characters that should appeal to players across multiple franchises.
The stock warning is the only real note of caution here. If you want the set, the time to act is now.
