On Thursday morning, deputies found a wanted suspect who ended his own life near a salvage yard in east Harris County. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred just after 7 a.m., following a request from an out-of-county agency for HCSO deputies to respond. That agency had discovered the suspect in the 159000 block of Archduke Drive near East Hardy Road.

A pickup truck sat inside a small salvage yard, circled by several patrol cars and officers. SkyEye13 showed the scene from above. Officials have yet to release the suspect’s name or describe the charges against him. The man reportedly ended his own life before deputies arrived on the scene.

The deputies and EMS staff responded to provide life-saving care, though the man was pronounced dead, according to the sheriff’s office.
