A vast assemblage of streamers and spectators, illumined by many lights, doth mark the closing hour of a grand and generous tumult.

ZEVENT 2026 peaks at 1.3M viewers and raises record €32M for charity.

The French charity streaming marathon ended its run with its second-best audience ever and its largest total to date. The event ran from September 3 to September 6, collecting €32,891,874 for 22 associations supported since the series began in 2016.

Counting the viewers

ZEVENT 2026 reached 1.3 million Peak Viewers, the second-highest figure in the series’ history. It missed the all-time record by just 4.6K concurrent viewers. The event did set a new milestone for total watch time, with 26.18 million Hours Watched.

A total of 354 unique broadcasting channels took part, either as direct participants or through community streams. The number of co-casting channels more than doubled between 2024 and 2026. Every stream was conducted in French, with no dedicated English-language broadcast, although Twitch created a special ZEVENT category for viewers to find active channels.

Event creator Adrien “ZeratoR” Nougaret was only the second-most popular streamer of the weekend. His channel peaked at 370.4K viewers. Théo “mastu” Becker topped that mark, hitting almost 477K viewers, a new personal record for his channel.

Mastu held a live drawing for a Leo Messi Barcelona jersey, which drove higher engagement. Another standout moment saw Maxence “Anyme” Turlot arrive at the location on a motorcycle with a large group of riders, widely considered one of the best entrances in ZEVENT history.

The money raised

The 2026 edition raised €32,891,874, more than double the record set the previous year. The organizers confirmed the sum in a post on X from the official ZEVENT account.

“Grâce à vous, ce ZEVENT 2026 a récolté 32 891 874€.”

The post continued: “Merci pour votre générosité qui n’a fait que grandir au fil des années.” It added that while this is the end of ZEVENT, it is not the end of solidarity.

The series has raised more than €90 million since its launch. The 2025 edition held the previous record for the largest sum ever collected during a charity livestream marathon.

This year was announced as the final edition. The events began with a concert in Montpellier on September 3 at the Sud de France Arena, featuring performances from GIMS, Gazo, L’Orchestre Curieux, and Bigflo & Oli. The main streaming marathon ran from Friday, September 4, through Sunday, September 6.

Edition Amount raised (€)
ZEVENT 2026 32,891,874
ZEVENT 2025 Previous record holder, less than half of 2026’s total
ZEVENT 2016 First edition, start of the series

The 2023 edition did not take place, as the creators paused to reshape the event’s format.

A series that ruled the charts

Across the Streams Charts database, the ZEVENT series leads in peak viewers. Six editions occupy the top six spots. The first non-ZEVENT to break into the top ten was 2020’s Calvogames, a Spanish-language charity gaming tournament organized by David “TheGrefg” Cánovas.

The main marathon combined gaming broadcasts, shows, challenges, and goals tied to donations to encourage viewer support. The organizers hinted at similar future efforts, even if not under the same banner.

The final edition lived up to its billing. It raised a record amount and gave fans countless moments across its ten editions. What the French livestreaming community does next remains to be seen.
