Lindsey Vonn has a new man in her life, and she did not exactly break the news quietly.
The Olympic gold medalist, 41, posted a summer recap in a bikini to announce her new relationship. She is dating fellow skier Matthieu Bailet, a 30-year-old French World Cup alpine ski racer whom People reports was rumored to be getting to know Vonn back in May.

Vonn’s post included the bikini shots she used to reveal she has a special someone. The ever important Instagram official label that can now be handed out was part of the announcement.
Jade Vow’s Party Island Failure
Jade Vow, 27, moved to Ayia Napa, Cyprus, with her 40-year-old boyfriend in hopes of finding romance. It has not worked out.
“When we first moved here, we had quite high hopes because it’s a party area with lots of tourists coming and going. We thought it would be perfect for our style of dating but it’s such a small island, and news travels fast so it’s not been quite what we expected,” she said, reports The Sun.
The holidaymakers she hoped to meet were not the kind she wanted. “The holidaymakers who come to this part of the island are not the kind of people I want to talk to. We get a certain type of Brit – the freshly turned 18-year-olds who are messy, drunk and disrespectful.”
The Complaint
She said the locals are out on boring quests looking for marriage material. She wants something random at a club. “Ideally, the hottest outcome would be going out, finding a random person in a club and bringing them home. That’s what we’re aiming for,” she said. “There still has to be attraction. Being in an open relationship doesn’t mean I’m fair game or that I’ll sleep with anyone.”
Tinder Date Ghosted Abroad
A 37-year-old professional personal assistant booked a six-week European vacation with a Tinder date she met in San Francisco. She flew out to London, where he welcomed her to his apartment and then ghosted her.
“I was crying, gutted. I planned this six-week European trip, and he was certainly the inspiration for it, but it was such a waste of money,” she told The Post.

She booked non-refundable Airbnbs in Florence, Italy, and Greece, bought train tickets, and flew out to London hoping to spend several weeks with him.

The stories are entertaining in the way romance stories often are. Vonn’s announcement was an official label in a bikini. Jade Vow’s disappointment is real but not surprising given how small the island is. The ghosted woman’s planning was excessive, but her doubt is honest.
