Mega Hobby EXPO 2026 wrapped up in Japan on September 26, 2026, and the floor was packed with new Yu-Gi-Oh! figurines. AMAKUNI brought coloured prototypes of Evilâ Twin Kis-skil and Evilâ Twin Lil-la, the figures announced over two years ago that still lack a release date. They also displayed coloured versions of Jaden Yuki and Yubel, and pre-orders have opened for that Jaden/Yubel figurine, complete with a Winged Kuriboh and interchangeable face and hand parts.
Hiya Toys showed off its first articulated Yu-Gi-Oh! figure prototypes at San Diego Comic Con earlier this year, including a Jaden Yuki figure that looks like the Season 4 fusion with Yubel and a Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Kotobukiya’s OSHI WORKS Téa Gardner/Anzu Mazaki figure is now available for pre-order. Funko kept rolling out new Pops, with four becoming available on September 9 and a glow-in-the-dark Exodia Necross exclusive already shipping. Prize figures are coming from Taito’s Core Creature Impact line, and Konami’s Prize Collection is set for February 2027.
AMAKUNI’s Prototype Display
AMAKUNI’s booth at Mega Hobby EXPO 2026 featured a mix of familiar faces and new reveals. The Evilâ Twin Kis-skil and Evilâ Twin Lil-la prototypes were on display, the figures first announced over two years ago. Neither has a release date yet, according to Hobby Dengeki Japan.
The coloured versions of Jaden Yuki and Yubel were also on display. Pre-orders have opened for the Jaden/Yubel figurine, which is based on Jaden from Season 4 of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, having fused his spirit with Yubel’s. It includes a Winged Kuriboh, interchangeable face parts to show him using Yubel’s powers, and interchangeable hand and arm parts for different poses, including his signature “That’s game!/Gotcha!” pose.
The figurine is priced at ¥22,000/$139.86 USD, stands 23.5 cm/9.3 in. tall at 1/7 scale, and ships in March-April 2027 after a reservation period running from September 25 to November 17.
AMAKUNI’s Other Releases
AMAKUNI didn’t stop at Jaden/Yubel. Their 5D’s figurines were on display, including the previously exhibited Red Dragon Archfiend and the first showing of Black Rose Dragon in colour. The booth also featured AMAKUNI’s Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier statue, which is finally available for pre-order.
The statue carries a price of ¥44,000/$279.73 USD, measures H26 x W30 x D40 cm/H10.2 x W11.8 x D15.8 in., and takes reservations from August 21 to October 15, shipping in December 2026-January 2027.
Hiya Toys and Kotobukiya
Hiya Toys showed its first articulated Yu-Gi-Oh! figure prototypes at San Diego Comic Con earlier this year. The first reveal was another Jaden Yuki figure, based on the jacket length it appears to be the Season 4 fusion with Yubel. A Blue-Eyes White Dragon figure was also shown.
Kotobukiya’s OSHI WORKS Téa Gardner/Anzu Mazaki figure is now available for pre-order. It stands 23 cm/9.1 in. tall, costs Â¥8800/$55.68 USD, and releases in November 2026.
Funko’s Run of Pops
Funko has kept the Yu-Gi-Oh! Pops coming. Four new Pops became available for pre-order on September 9, 2026, and will ship on November 29, 2026. The prices were converted from NZD to USD, so the exact NZD amounts are not provided.
The lineup includes the Scapegoat Pop, which is part of the Animation series. The other three are not named individually in the source, but each stands 9.5 cm/3.75 in. tall. Prices range from $15.00 to $17.10 USD, with the full breakdown not detailed beyond those four entries.
The eVend-exclusive Exodia Necross Pop with glow-in-the-dark markings was teased back in March and is currently available. It joins the growing list of Funko’s Yu-Gi-Oh! offerings.
Nendoroid and Prize Figure News
GOOD SMILE confirmed a Blue-Eyes White Dragon Nendoroid is in production. From Re-Ment, the second Desktop series collection has been teased, with a Yami Yugi accessory case and a Dark Magician Girl multi-stand.
Re-Ment’s petadoll “Friendship arc” collection of sitting figurines was re-released on July 6, 2026, and is currently available.
Prize Figures Coming
The prize figure lineup is expanding in November 2026. Both Obelisk the Tormentor and The Winged Dragon of Ra are coming to Taito Toys’ Core Creature Impact line, each 25 cm/9.8 in. tall.
In February 2027, Konami’s Prize Collection will release three figures: a Yami Yugi figure, a Summoned Skull figure and a Gold Sarcophagus light.

The Merchandise Range
The breadth of upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise is striking. AMAKUNI is moving across multiple lines, from the 1/7-scale Jaden/Yubel to the larger Brionac statue. Hiya Toys is entering the market with articulated figures, and Kotobukiya is adding an OSHI WORKS entry. Funko keeps churning out Pops, including the glow-in-the-dark Exodia Necross exclusive.
The prize figure lineup is also expanding, with Taito’s Core Creature Impact line getting two major monsters in November. Konami’s February 2027 release adds a Summoned Skull and a Gold Sarcophagus light to the mix.
The range of formats is notable. Collectors who want posable figures have Hiya Toys and AMAKUNI’s articulated lines. Those who prefer statues have AMAKUNI’s Brionac. Funko covers the small collectibles, and prize figures offer something for tournament attendees.
The Jaden/Yubel figurine is the headline act. Its display at Mega Hobby EXPO suggests it is nearly ready, even without a release date attached. The glow-in-the-dark Exodia Necross Pop is a neat touch for fans who want something a little different from standard Funko fare.
The Release Schedule
The upcoming releases span a wide window, from September through February 2027. The Jaden/Yubel figurine leads the pack, with the glow-in-the-dark Exodia Necross Pop offering a fun aside.
