Amazon’s October Prime Day event kicks off on October 6th, but the portable Bluetooth speaker deals are already live. That means you can grab a new speaker today instead of waiting for the official start.
The headline promises one October Prime Day deal, but the story delivers a whole roundup of speakers at discounted prices. We’re talking JBL models, Ultimate Ears, and even Beats. The discounts range from 10% off to 33% off, with some speakers hitting their lowest prices ever.
The Deal at the Center of It All
The headline points to a single deal, and it’s true — there is a standout offer here. The JBL Charge 6 is down to $149.95, which is its lowest price ever. It’s a rugged outdoor speaker that doubles as a power bank for charging your devices.
The Charge 6 runs for 28 hours on a single charge, and it delivers punchy, bass-heavy audio. It’s built for the beach, the pool, or anywhere you want sound that doesn’t fade away. The power bank feature is a nice bonus if you’ve got a phone or tablet running low.
The standout offer comes with a significant discount. At $149.95, the JBL Charge 6 sits at its lowest price ever. That makes it the headline deal that the headline points to, and it’s the offer that anchors this roundup.
The Ultraportable Pool Companion
If you’re after something smaller, the Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 4 is the compact pick. It’s discounted to $69.99, a 30% discount off its usual price. That puts it in the ultraportable category — perfect for the shower, the pool, or the beach.
The WONDERBOOM 4 is dustproof and fully submersible in up to 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes. It also has 360-degree sound. You get 14 hours of playtime on a single charge.
For buyers who want portability without sacrificing sound quality, the Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 4 is the standout compact option. Its 30% discount brings it to $69.99, making it the best deal among the ultraportable speakers covered in this roundup.
What Else Is On Sale
The roundup goes beyond those two picks. There’s a Beats Pill at $99.95, a 33% discount off its usual price. It’s water-resistant, delivers powerful sound that fills rooms, and lasts 24 hours on a single charge.
There’s also the JBL FLIP 5, which is down to $89.95, a 10% discount. It’s a durable speaker with a waterproof design, and it offers 12 hours of listening time. The sound is clear and loud for its small size.
Here’s how the four main speakers break down:
| Speaker | Price | Discount | Battery Life |
|---|---|---|---|
| JBL Charge 6 | $149.95 | 25% off | 28 hours |
| Beats Pill | $99.95 | 33% off | 24 hours |
| JBL FLIP 5 | $89.95 | 10% off | 12 hours |
| Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 4 | $69.99 | 30% off | 14 hours |
That table shows the full spread of the deals. The JBL Charge 6 leads the pack with the biggest discount percentage, while the Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 4 holds the lowest price among the roundup’s offerings.
The Free Trial Offer
The roundup recommends taking advantage of an Amazon Prime 30-day free trial. That gets you access to the fastest shipping and exclusive deals. It’s a small addition, but it’s worth considering if you don’t already have Prime.
The free trial is available for anyone who wants to test the service. You get access to fast shipping, exclusive deals, and the usual Prime benefits for a month.
That offer sits alongside the speaker deals themselves. Anyone who wants to try Prime before committing can do so without paying a fee, and the deals apply whether you’re a Prime member or not.
